Initial Impressions

Red Stag casino is a slick new casino that has only been operating since late 2015 and has a cool cowboy theme that feels very American. Thankfully, it does accept US players but everything is not quite as it may first appear.

As the .eu domain name suggests, it's actually aimed just as much at European players as those in the States though those outside of America need to be willing to play in USD, as that's the only currency supported by Red Stag.

The site is nicely laid out, and it's possible to get a close look at all of the games they offer without the need to sign up or make a deposit, but we still decided to conduct an in-depth review of what Red Stag Casino has to offer, and whether it has what it takes to compete with more established online casino sites.

A No Stones Unturned Review of Red Stag Casino

With slots, table games, video poker and other speciality titles, Red Stag's game library contains more than 150 titles. Admittedly there are casinos out there with more games, with some boasting 500+, but there will be more than enough to keep the average punter happy here. In fact, we'll go one better than that to say that there's a LOT of action to try.

These days, lots of online casinos are beginning to cater either for slots players or for fans of table games. With a pretty healthy serving of each, it seems that Red Stag is looking to bring in all kinds of players. There's also a nice helping of tournaments, special events and freerolls for those who prefer a competitive edge to their gaming.

Security & Fair Play

Verified Casino

Red Stag is licensed by the government of Netherlands Antilles and state on their website that they use a certified and audited Random Number Generator to power all of their games.

Although this is a great start, we'd also like to see a little more information about the results of their past audits, payout percentages and so on. However, the site is only a few months old at the time of writing, so it may just be that there's not all that much information to publish right now.

Red Stag also provides all players with a Game History and a log of all their financial transactions. Most players will look at this information rarely, if ever, but it's good to know that it's all there if you experience any questionable or suspect activity on your account.

All payments are protected by, according to Red Stag's site, "the most advanced billing platforms available today." We'd ideally like a little more information about how they process payments, but we haven't encountered any cases of players having serious problems with Red Stag.

Final Thoughts

Red Stag Casino isn't without its flaws. While it offers several good deposit/withdrawal options, some players might find the fact that it only allows payments in USD a bit of a drag.

It's got solid software that has plenty of games, but you may find yourself missing the movie tie-ins and other branded games that now appear at so many casinos. On the other hand, you might find it to be a nice break from predictability.

However, despite all of the above, it's still a very good casino. Making deposits is quick and easy, there are plenty of enjoyable and well-reproduced games to enjoy, and their VIP Club goes above and beyond to make playing more fun. If you're on the market for a new online casino, you could do much worse than to give Red Stag a try.

And with their outrageously good welcome bonus, you can't lose!
