GTA Casino Gears up to Welcome Visitors

Excitement and speculation among gaming fans has been high since the news that the casino in Grand Theft Auto is about to open its doors.

Rockstar Games announced, in its plans for a GTA 5 online update, that the Diamond Casino & Resort will soon be receiving visitors.

It will, we are told, feature “lavish amenities, exclusive shopping, first-class entertainment and state-of-the-art gaming facilities”.

Recent visitors to the site, on Vinewood Park Drive in Los Santos, have spotted construction props outside its front entrance.

How soon will players on PS4, Xbox One and PC be able to sample those facilities? Well-placed sources say it will be mid-July at the earliest.

There are echoes of Red Dead Online, which recently gave fans the ability to play in-game poker with friends or random opponents.

GTA aficionados have long wanted to enjoy a casino in the online version of the hugely popular game.

But it is not yet clear exactly how you will be able to use the casino. Will it be simply another venue for GTA adventures? Or will actual online gaming take place there?

Our instincts tell us that players will indeed get the chance to enjoy table games and go for big payouts.

And what might be next? Well, the casino is right next to the Vinewood racetrack…
