Ocean Casino Resort Launches Limited Edition Beef Jerky With Eagles Lineman Cam Jurgens

Ocean Casino Resort is betting on Philadelphia Eagles fandom ahead of the 2026 NFL season, teaming up with lineman Cam Jurgens on a special-edition beef jerky being sold at the Boardwalk property.

Jurgens, who plays center for the Eagles, launched his beef jerky brand, Jurgy, in 2021. The company debuted as a name, image, and likeness (NIL) venture while Jurgens was still in college playing for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Made with 100% beef, Jurgy offers five core flavors: Original, Hot Honey, Cracked Pepper, Mango Habanero, and Teriyaki. For the fall football season, Jurgy is partnering with Ocean for a limited-edition Blueberry BBQ flavor.

“Born from the spirit of a summer backyard cookout, with smoke rising off the grill and fresh-picked Jersey blueberries on the table,” Jurgy said of its special flavor.

Ocean Casino is running a promotion surrounding the collaboration on Instagram. Users who like the post, follow the resort and Jurgy, and tag a friend have a chance to win an eight-pack case of the Blueberry BBQ jerky and a free overnight stay at the Atlantic City casino.

Atlantic City Leans on Philadelphia

For decades, Atlantic City was a preferred getaway for Philadelphians. The casino beach town was largely developed by Philadelphians as a seaside resort, with the railroad helping fuel the destination’s early tourism boom. Today, the two cities are only about an hour apart by car.

But with Pennsylvania now home to numerous casinos, residents no longer need to drive to the Jersey Shore to gamble. Still, Atlantic City remains geographically and economically intertwined with Philadelphia, and the shore casinos continue to market to Philadelphians.

Ocean Casino Resort previously teamed with Jason Kelce on an exclusive hot sauce with Sea Isle City-based Hank Sauce. Kelce, who also played center for the Eagles, is an investor and creative partner in Hank Sauce.

The luxury Boardwalk casino is teaming with Jurgy to promote beef jerky. The winner of the Blueberry BBQ bundle will have the chance to meet the Eagles star during their trip to Atlantic City.

Jersey Blueberries

The blueberry in the Blueberry BBQ Jurgy flavor pays homage to New Jersey’s agricultural roots. The Garden State is the birthplace of the first cultivated blueberries and is home to the town of Hammonton, called the Blueberry Capital of the World.

While New Jersey remains a major US commercial producer of blueberries, Washington, Oregon, and Georgia are today the top cultivators.
