Tori Spelling Cancels ‘90210’-Themed Backstreet Boys Afterparty in Las Vegas

  • Tori Spelling canceled a “Beverly Hills 90210” event at the Venetian
  • The ’90s TV actress and her former co-star, Brian Austin Green, were scheduled to appear at an afterparty for a Backstreet Boys concert next door at the Sphere
  • Spelling blamed an undisclosed illness and said the event would be rescheduled

Tori Spelling canceled a planned “Backstreet Boys” concert afterparty in Las Vegas on Sunday night, blaming an unexpected health issue she did not disclose.

The actress and podcast host, 52, was scheduled to co‑host the “’90s After Dark Party” with onetime “Beverly Hills, 90210” costar Brian Austin Green at Voltaire, the nightlife venue inside the Venetian.

The event was promoted by Voltaire’s website as a one‑night‑only afterparty designed to “transport fans back to the 1990s.” Shrewd marketing placed it directly adjacent to where 20,000 nostalgic millennials are expected to file out of the Sphere following the December 28 Backstreet Boys concert.

“After Dark,” named after the nightclub on “90210,” was to have featured DJ sets, an appearance by Color Me Badd and “surprise guests” (a not-so-subtle tease that one of them might be an actual Backstreet Boy).

Spelling announced the postponement on Friday, December 26 via Instagram.

“This hurts to share,” she wrote, “but I need to be honest with you. I’m sick and have to postpone our After Dark event this Sunday night in Las Vegas.”

She told followers she needed to prioritize her health, noting that she had been looking forward to the event.

“I’ve been counting down the days to see you, and it truly breaks my heart to pause something I was so excited for,” she wrote.

While Spelling did not disclose the nature of her illness, she emphasized that the party would be rescheduled and thanked fans for their support and understanding. Her post included a promise that a new date would be announced soon.

Green, also 52, did not issue a separate statement about the postponement. Earlier in the week, however — on Christmas Day — he promoted the event on Instagram, encouraging fans to join him and Spelling at Voltaire following the concert next door.

Voltaire, which opened in late 2023, has become known for hosting intimate, themed nightlife events and limited‑run performances.
