WynnBET Sportsbook Review 2024

4.5/5

Relying on history and pedigree over flashy marketing and gimmicks, WynnBET brings the fun and knowledge of the Las Vegas strip to the New York sports betting scene.

The confidence in the brand is shown in their understated commercials, featuring NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and actors like Ben Affleck and Melvin Gregg, to advertise the WynnBET Sportsbook.

The links to Las Vegas are a big selling point, with the WynnBET homepage showing a roulette wheel promo with the chance to win a trip to the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Resort. The Wynn Rewards are also a nice benefit of using this sportsbook. This lets you earn up to 30% discounts on some hotel rooms, special event discounts, free birthday credits and more.

Discover everything the WynnBET Sportsbook has to offer below.

Pros

  • Creative and unique promotions
  • Trusted name in the gambling industry
  • Wynn Rewards offers unique perks

Cons

  • Terms and conditions aren’t that clear
  • Low-profile sportsbook in NY market
  • Not the best page design

Sports markets and bet types

4.7/5

There are nine different types of sports offered, including plenty of soccer futures ranging from Major League Soccer to World Cup winners and more.

WynnBET Sportsbook has a smaller of selection of sports than competing New York sportsbooks, which can be seen as limited or streamlined depending upon your point of view. NFL and college football futures (win total over/unders) are extensive, as are international golf futures, which has more choices now the LVI golf tour is running as a rival to the PGA Tour.

The most popular sports for New Yorkers include football, basketball and hockey, and all can be found here in an easy-to-navigate site that puts user experience front and center.

Bonuses and promotions

4.3/5

WynnBET promotions are quite clever, helping them standout against the competitors. WynnBET Win Hour with a reduced “juice” or “cut”, so you get more of your winnings on Thursdays is one example.

Their welcome offer is pretty generous as well, offering $50 to win $200 on bets with minimum odds of -120 or greater.

There are various bonus codes that can be Googled based upon who they are doing business with at any particular time, and there is no centralized WynnBET bonus code. CompDollars can be earned and used at Wynn resorts.

Banking

4.4/5

There are six different ways to deposit funds at WynnBET, and the money is available for wagering almost immediately. This is fewer payment options than most sportsbooks. Credit card deposits are not allowed, but allowable options are PayPal, online banking (which they recommend through Play+), Trustly, wire transfer and VIP preferred e-check.

All of these options are safe and secure and are vetted by the NY State Gaming Commission.

How long is WynnBET withdrawal time?

Three to five business days, but online support recommends Play+ as a speedier option. The minimum deposit is $10-20 depending on type of payment, and there is no maximum. Any withdrawal of $10,000 or more will be immediately reported to the IRS in accordance with US banking laws.

Security and fair play

4.8/5

WynnBET is one of nine sportsbooks licensed to operate online in New York, and it is owned by Wynn Resorts Limited, out of Paradise, Nevada. It is publicly traded on the NASDAQ Exchange, operates in nine U.S. states and is audited internally. WynnBET uses SSL encryption to protect users’ information.

All licensed U.S. sportsbooks pass our 25-step review process.

WynnBET App

4.7/5

The first thing you will see when using the WynnBET Sportsbook App is “Log In” and “Register” at the bottom of the screen. The app defaults to a Rewards and Promotions page, which we do not see from other NY sportsbooks.

After logging in, use the back arrow at the top left-hand corner to get to the home screen, where “Live Now” events are highlighted, followed by “Popular” and “Soon.” Your money balance and your rewards points appear at the top of the screen in the center. The navigation by sports is side-to-side near the top, and the graphics against a plain blue background are very easy to read.

A “Promotions” bar at the bottom will allow you to easily navigate to whatever specials are being offered. “My Bets” is a handy button to have, but it seems redundant to have promotions shown before registration as they can only be claimed before you join.

The WynnBET Sportsbook app is compatible with both iOS and Android.

Conclusion

4.5/5

Ease of navigation on an app is one of the things that makes brand loyalty happen, and we would like to see the app be as user-friendly as the laptop version. But that being said, the clear graphics are a big plus, even if the site is somewhat no-frills aside from the ever-present Shaq.

What WynnBET has going for it that most other NY sportsbook apps do not is the tie-in with Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas, Boston and Macao. Your author has stayed at both the Wynn and the Encore in Las Vegas and highly recommends both. And this is where those points and WynnBET chips come in extra handy.

WynnBET offers considerably fewer deposit options to gamblers from New York than other books. Online banking and PayPal are the most common across the state, and both of these are available – although withdrawal times at WynnBET are slower than elsewhere. Gamblers from New York are not permitted to deposit via credit card under New York State Wagering Commission rules.

WynnBET has been slow to market its product in New York, and because WynnBET is only available in nine states, it's behind the curve in attracting new players. While they don't advertise heavily in New York, they are worth checking out to make sure you find the best odds at the various NY sportsbooks.
