- Newly released WWE video game featured on Resorts World 100K-foot LED screen
- WWE stars, including Xavier Woods, Breeze, and Dakota Kai attended the event
- Wrestlemania 41 coming to Vegas in April
A portion of the Las Vegas skyline was transformed into a battleground of digital WWE superstars on Wednesday night as Resorts World Las Vegas’ 100K-square-foot LED screen showcased a series of gigantic WWE 2K25 matchups.

This was a promotional event to celebrate the video game’s recent release and Wrestlemania 41’s impending visit to Las Vegas.
The real versions of the wrestling stars were down on the ground by the Resorts World pool using joypads to piledrive and power-slam one another into submission.
Xavier Woods, Breeze, R-Truth, Dakota Kai, and Kofi Kingston were all on hand to give Las Vegans a sneak peek of the new game via the 300-f00t-high screen on Resorts World’s west tower.
Developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K, WWE 2K25 is the 25th installment in the popular pro wrestling video game series. Early reviews have been positive, with GamesRadar calling the wrestling engine “top tier… just exceptional… the best we’ve seen in the series.”

There’s also a completely new free-roaming experience called The Island, which allows players to explore an online neighborhood, visiting its various stores and, inevitably, spending money improving their character via copious microtransactions.
Wrestlemania 41 Hits Allegiant Stadium
Meanwhile, Wrestlemania 41 hits the Allegiant Stadium on April 19-20. It’s the second time the city has hosted the event. The first, Westlemania IX held at Caesars Palace in 1993 and featuring announcers wearing Roman togas proved to be something of a low point for the brand.
Brighter things are expected from April’s event, which will see John Cena challenge Cody Rhodes for the undisputed WWE title, and Gunther fight Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship, with many more matchups to be confirmed.
The venue may be in Las Vegas, but don’t expect to be able to bet on the event with local sportsbooks. Betting on scripted events is strictly prohibited because of the possibility of corruption and insider wagering.
The only place to bet on WWE is via offshore online sports books, many of which run restricted markets, limiting the amount you can bet to relatively small amounts.
