VIDEO: Beyoncé Reunites Destiny’s Child in Vegas

Fans attending Beyoncé’s final “Cowboy Carter” show in Las Vegas were blown away on Saturday night when Queen Bey reunited Destiny’s Child, the ‘90s girl group that launched the singer to superstardom.

The reunion — the trio’s first since the 2018 Coachella festival — highlighted the singer’s second of two back-to-back shows at Allegiant Stadium. And boy are fans who thought they got a great show on Friday disappointed now.

The magic moment occurred about 30 songs into the 40-song set list. After the singer exited the stage, she re-emerged flanked by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for the “Renaissance” portion of her show.

“Destiny’s Child, bitch!” Beyoncé she announced, though it’s not possible anyone in the crowd had any problem identifying the other singers who danced and harmonized with their former partner through their 2000 hit, “Independent Woman Part I,” followed “Lose my Breath,” Beyoncé’s “Energy,” and “Bootylicious.”

During “Energy, the trio and their audience — which, according to TMZ, included Oprah Winfrey, Khloe Kardashian and Tyler Perry in the VIP section — participated in “The Mute Challenge,” a viral social media trend during which participants freeze in place and fall silent during the lyrics “Look around, everybody on mute.”

A new poignancy was injected into the song’s lyrics, “just me and my crew — big energy.”

“Don’t ever ask permission for something that already belongs to you,” Beyoncé told the Allegiant Stadium crowd during the show’s final moments.

The Beyhive buzzed online, with a photo of the three posted to Beyoncé’s Instagram achieving 1.4 million hits overnight.

“This was the most incredible night of my life,” gushed user @prguido92. “Thank you!”

“OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD,” added @lafemmeinvisible84.

“Day one Vegas ppl are UPPPPPPPSET MAAM!!!! Im Day 1 Vegas PPL” added @sheeshneesh.

Hundreds of comments begged Beyoncé to stage a full-fledged Destiny’s Child tour, though that’s only wishful thinking for now.
