CONFIRMED: Usher Married Girlfriend in Las Vegas Following Super Bowl Halftime Show

UPDATE: Usher’s wedding to girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea, immediately following his halftime performance at Super Bowl LVIII, was confirmed by the singer’s producer Bryan-Michael Cox, who announced, “Congrats to the newlyweds in the building!” as the couple entered a dinner party held at Aria’s Cathédrale Las Vegas, according to Page Six. The secret wedding’s location has yet to be disclosed.

EARLIER: Usher obtained a Clark County marriage license on February 8, according to multiple reports. And while the singer and his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea, now have up to a year to tie the knot in Las Vegas, Britain’s Daily Mail reports that they plan to do it right after Usher’s Super Bowl halftime performance.

As of this writing, no marriage certificate has been filed.

Goicoechea, 39, went public with their relationship in October 2018, when the Epic Records executive was photographed attending Usher’s birthday party.

The couple shares a daughter, Sovereign Bo, 3, and a one-year-old son, Sire Castrello. All currently reside in Las Vegas.

Wedding Usher

According to the Daily Mail, the OMG singer decided on marriage after consulting his spiritual advisor, Amba Kahly Su.

The wedding is to be an intimate affair attended only by close friends and family, according to the newspaper.

The marriage will be Usher’s third. From 2017 to 2020, the singer was married to former entertainment executive and author Grace Harry. And from 2007 to 2009, his wife was fashion designer Tameka Foster, 53.

Usher and Foster share Usher’s two other children, Usher “Cinco” Raymond V, 16, and Navid Ely, 15.

At least wedding bells will ring for someone in this Super Bowl following the big game.
