Netflix will open a permanent “home” for experiences based on its original TV series and movies on the Las Vegas Strip, the company announced this week.

Netflix House will debut in 2017 at BLVD Las Vegas. That’s the new, partially open 400K square-foot retail, entertainment and dining plaza built over the demolished Hawaiian Marketplace south of Harmon Avenue — the one slated to debut the world’s largest In-N-Out on its third-floor roof deck.

The experiences will allow fans of all ages to become the main characters in their favorite plot lines. Exactly which series will be included have yet to be revealed. However, before Vegas, Netflix will open Netflix Houses in Dallas and Philadelphia later this year. Dallas will get experiences based on “Stranger Things” and “Squid Game,” while Philadelphia will get “Wednesday” and “One Piece” attractions.

“This is fandom coming to life, where you can actually step inside the worlds you’ve been watching and loving for years — whether going on an epic adventure with the Straw Hats, taking a journey into Hawkins, Indiana, or grabbing a cocktail inspired by your latest obsession,” said Marian Lee, Netflix’s chief marketing officer, in a statement.

All Netflix Houses will feature Netflix Bites, the casual restaurant with Neflix-inspired menu items. (One currently resides inside the MGM Grand, where it is expected to operate until Feb. 20, 2026.)

Netflix House represents Las Vegas’ most ambitious attempt yet to thwart some of the immersive (read: Gen Z) tourism eschewing the Strip for AREA15 and its city of Las Vegas-designated Immersive Tourism District.  (None of the Las Vegas Strip falls within the city of Las Vegas.)

A pop-cultural amusement park, the district already includes the John Wick Experience by Lionsgate and the upcoming Universal Horror Unleashed and Interstellar Arc by Felix & Paul Studios.

Also attempting to keep immersive tourists on the Strip will be Warner Bros. Discovery Global’s “The Friends Experience,” scheduled to open July 23 at the MGM Grand.
