- Program treats Canadian dollar at par with the U.S. dollar
- LVCVA reports 17.4% drop in Canadian travel to Las Vegas in 2025
Over 50,000 Canadians have cashed in on the “at par” promotion across the Circa, the D, and the Golden Gate casino hotels in its first three months, according to the resorts’ ownership.

Dollar for Dollar Promotion
The “At Par” program, which continues through Aug. 31, treats the Canadian dollar as being at parity with the U.S. dollar, regardless of daily exchange rates, and applies to select gaming, hotel, beverage and entertainment offerings.
The program has generated more than 5,100 hotel room bookings and produced over $10 million in slot play.
Canadians have always played a meaningful role in downtown Las Vegas, and we’re incredibly appreciative of the loyalty they continue to show our city,” said Derek Stevens, owner and CEO of Circa, the D and Golden Gate.
“The response to our At Par program has been tremendous and we look forward to creating more exciting moments for our guests from the Great White North.”
Visitors don’t need to be hotel guests to participate in gaming, beverage or entertainment offerings. Canadian citizenship must be verified with a valid passport or government-issued ID.
Double-Digit Drop in Canadian Travelers
The news comes the same week the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority released their annual Las Vegas Annual Visitation report. That was highlighted by a 4.8% decline (4.99 million in 2024 to 4.72 million in 2025) in foreign visitors in 2025, driven by a 17.4% drop in travelers from Canada.
According to the LVCVA report, Las Vegas saw an overall 8% decline in visitation in 2025. However, that 4.72 million number is the second highest foreign visitor total since before the pandemic in 2019 (5.65 million).
Over 1.19 million Canadians visited Las Vegas in 2025, a figure down from 1.45 million in 2024.
