In a LinkedIn post detailing the company’s Q3 2026 financial performance (July 1 through Sept. 30), Chavdar Dimitrov said the company had more than 214,000 active players across the Ontario and Alberta regulated iGaming markets in September, a 28% increase from June.

Ontario Drives Quarterly Revenue Growth

According to Dimitrov, preliminary data from gaming providers suggests Betty Canada has captured the top spot in slots market share in Alberta since launching on July 13, the day the province’s market opened.

Quarterly net revenue across Ontario and Alberta reached US$111m in Q3, up 23% from Q2 2026. Ontario accounted for approximately $101m, up $11m from Q2, while Alberta generated nearly $10m in new revenue after its launch.

Player Acquisition Rises

In Q3, advertising spend was reduced by 12% in Ontario to $15m compared to Q2, while new depositors from organic acquisition grew by 19%. Overall new depositors in Ontario increased 6% to 56,702 during the quarter, despite the reduction in advertising spending.

In Ontario, net revenue per active player rose from $193 in July to $195 in August, both yearly highs, before dipping to $183 in September.

Alberta recorded 42,831 new depositors during Q3, including more than 10,000 sign-ups from the company’s pre-launch campaigns. Advertising spend in Alberta reached $14.1m from July to September. Net revenue per active player in Alberta went from $126 in August, its first full month of operations, to $149 in September.

Alberta Expansion Gains Early Momentum

“This reflects a maturing player base, with retained players growing from 48% of our base in August to 62% in September, compared to 90% in Ontario,” the company reported.

Alberta accounted for 12% of Betty Canada’s total revenue in September, with the company projecting that share will rise to 27% by December 2027.

The first Betty Originals slot game, Vault Wreckers, launched in Ontario on Aug. 31 and Alberta on Sept. 17. It attracted 50,841 active players in its first seven days, averaging 307 rounds per player and generating 15.6 million rounds in total, the highest opening seven-day round count among Betty’s 2026 new game releases in Ontario.

Bingo Revenue Reaches Record High

Betty Canada reported its strongest quarter for bingo since launch, with net gaming revenue (NGR) reaching $911,000 in Q3, up 78% from Q2, including a record $394,000 in September.

Combined with Mini Slots, the bingo segment generated $1.3 million in quarterly NGR, including $581,000 in September.

Bingo attracted 71,000 players in September, representing 39% of Betty’s monthly active players in Ontario. The company said its integration of bingo and slots is helping improve player retention, with 77% of bingo players now using Mini Slots, while its weekly Saturday bingo events attract up to 7,000 participants.
