Betty Canada reported Q2 2026 net gaming revenue of US$90.2 million (CA$125.1 million)—a 113% year-over-year surge—according to the company’s latest financial results.

The figure also represented an 11% sequential increase over Q1 net gaming revenue, accompanied by Q2 EBITDA of US$8.4 million (CA$11.7 million).
The number of active players on the Betty platform hit 167,000 in June 2026. There were 81,000 active players in June 2025.
Revenue More Than Doubles
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)—factoring in media spend, KYC, and welcome bonuses—rose to US$352 (CA$488) in Q2 (the three months ending June 30, 2026). Management noted the higher acquisition costs reflect a deliberate strategy to capture market share, even at a premium.
Despite the elevated costs, organic acquisition remained strong. Of the more than 53,000 New Active Depositors (NADs) brought on during the quarter, 53% originated from unpaid or organic initiatives, such as its Refer-a-Friend program.
“From a financial perspective, the combination of sustained revenue growth, improving gross margins, and disciplined operating leverage has transformed the business into a consistently EBITDA-positive operation,” the company stated in its quarterly release.
Positioned for Global & Regional Expansion
Looking ahead, management emphasized that Betty’s expanding EBITDA and larger revenue base provide the financial flexibility to invest aggressively where returns justify capital expenditure.
Founded in February 2023 as an Ontario-focused, female-centric slots brand, Betty has since evolved. Its user base now reflects an even 50/50 gender split, with a slight skew toward women.
Heading into 2025, the operator shifted strategy to a decentralized franchise model designed to scale internationally across the U.S., Latin America, and Europe—a vision co-founder Justin Park described as becoming the “McDonald’s of iCasino.”
Under this franchise structure, licensing fees flow back to parent entity Betty Gaming Ltd., led by Group CEO Justin Park, while Chavdar Dimitrov serves as CEO of Betty Gaming Canada Ltd. As part of this global push, Betty secured a UK operating license on May 5 and officially went live in the UK market on June 1.
Alberta Launch Accelerates Canadian Growth
On the domestic front, Betty expanded into Alberta on July 13 to coincide with the launch of the province’s regulated iGaming market. Ahead of go-live, the operator secured over 10,000 pre-registrations before real-money play began.
“Alberta is Betty’s most immediate growth opportunity,” the company said. “By the end of 2026, the province should be tracking toward CA$60 million [US$43.2 million] in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and at maturity is expected to reach 35% to 40% the size of the Ontario operation.”
In a post on LinkedIn, Chavdar Dimitrov paid tribute to his team in driving the launch, lauding them as having prepared and executed the Alberta launch “seamlessly”.
“Hats off to everyone at Betty that was part of this project,” Dimitrov exclaimed.
“We are committed to securing the #1 position in the new market from the start!”
