Country music superstar Bailey Zimmerman could soon face the music for his alleged actions at a New Mexico tribal casino that resulted in the 26-year-old facing felony and misdemeanor charges.

TMZ and other celebrity gossip media outlets are reporting that there’s a warrant for Zimmerman’s arrest after the Sandia Resort & Casino reported to police that the entertainer caused an estimated $16,000 in damages to a hotel suite.
Zimmerman stayed at the Albuquerque tribal casino in late May, where he was supposed to play the Sandia Amphitheater on Wednesday, May 27.
Officials with the casino, however, say Zimmerman went on an alcohol-fueled bender ahead of the show, leading to the singer canceling the gig in the 4,000-seat outdoor venue.
Ya’ll know there’s nothing I love more than getting out on the road and playing these shows for you, so it’s so hard for me to have to say this, but I have to reschedule tonight’s (5/27) and Saturday’s (5/30) shows. I have not been feeling well and have tried to power through, but I’m not able to give you all the show you deserve,” a statement supposedly from Zimmerman read on his social media.
The Saturday show was to be held at another tribal casino, the Graton Resort & Casino in California’s Rohnert Park.
A rising star, Zimmerman burst onto the country music scene in 2023 with his debut studio album, “Religiously. The Album.” Zimmerman garnered Male Breakthrough Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year nods at the CMT Music Awards for “Fall in Love” and “Rock and a Hard Place.”
Scandal Emerges
While many fans wished Zimmerman well and seemingly understood the last-minute cancellation, Sandia alleges there was no illness but only a performer in a drunken stupor.
In asking a court for an arrest warrant, the New Mexico casino said Zimmerman was visibly intoxicated during his soundcheck, stumbling, falling, and acting belligerent. The police report claimed Zimmerman threw a microphone and kicked part of the drum kit over during the preshow warmup.
Casino security alleged that Zimmerman spat at them when he was told to get in a white SUV, when he had requested a black vehicle. After Zimmerman’s team called off the show, the singer reportedly continued his bender.
The next morning, after being told to leave by the casino, housekeeping found the singer’s guestroom trashed, with a television destroyed, and considerable damage to the room’s furniture and walls, including a hole in one of the walls.
The police report also detailed stains on the carpet, two missing chairs, and an unpaid $400 alcohol bill.
Sandia claims it attempted to reach the singer to discuss the damages but was unsuccessful.
