VEGAS MUSIC NEWS: Eagles Land 2 More Sphere Dates, Cyndi Lauper Returns to Caesars Palace, Fontainebleau Books Alanis & Train

Key Points

  • The Eagles have added two new dates to their Sphere residency, extending their run to a record 74 shows
  • Cyndi Lauper announced a 10-show return engagement at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, spanning two blocks in 2027
  • Alanis Morissette and Train booked separate headlining New Year's weekend performances at the Fontainebleau’s BleauLive Theater

The Eagles have added two new shows at the Sphere next year, taking their residency to a new limit of 74 shows—more than any other act to play the globular wonder. (The Backstreet Boys sit in a distant second place with 57 shows.)

The new dates—Jan. 8 and 9, 2027—slot into an already dense winter calendar that includes Nov. 13–14, Nov. 27–28, Dec. 4–5, Dec. 11–12, Jan. 15–16, and Jan. 22–23.

Whether these will be the final Eagles concerts ever is anyone’s guess. But it’s become increasingly clear that longtime members Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit—all of whom are closing in on 80 years old—are unlikely to take their show anywhere else.

Their Sphere residency—which began September 20, 2024—removes nearly every touring burden: no travel, no nightly rebuilds, no unpredictable acoustics, and none of the logistical grind that makes traditional touring punishing for artists their age.

Tickets for the two new shows, which start at $175, go on sale Friday (Oct. 30) via Ticketmaster.

Cyndi Lauper is headed back to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a 10‑show run stretching across two blocks of 2027.

The pop icon, now 73, made headlines during her April engagement when she collapsed to the stage in mock exhaustion and later scolded a fan who disrupted the performance.

Her new dates land on Feb. 19, 20, 24, 26, and 27, followed by Sept. 3, 4, 8, 10, and 11. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. PT Friday (Oct. 23) via Ticketmaster.

Bleau Skies for Alanis, Train

Alanis Morissette and Train are set to headline separate New Year’s weekend shows at the Fontainebleau’s BleauLive Theater. Morissette is scheduled for Jan. 1, followed by Train the following evening.

Morissette last appeared on the Strip with an eight‑show Colosseum run in fall 2025. Train, led by vocalist Pat Monahan, most recently headlined the M Resort in May 2025.

Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. PT Friday (Oct. 23) via Ticketmaster.
