Pennsylvania State Police allege Antonio Jackson, 41, Anthony Paye, 47, and Macy Wyatt Wilson, 35, conspired to steal high-value gaming chips from two properties owned and operated by Penn Entertainment.

The affidavit for the three men claims that they stole $17K in purple gaming chips, which are each worth $500, from Hollywood Casino York on the morning of Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024. In that incident, surveillance footage captured Wilson walking onto the gaming floor located inside the Galleria Mall and sitting down at a blackjack table.

Wilson didn’t buy in or participate. After watching a few hands, Wilson allegedly lunged across the table and grabbed as many purple chips as he could before fleeing. Police say Wilson, whose identity at the time was unknown to law enforcement, took off in a waiting gray Ford Explorer.

Less than two weeks later, police allege that Wilson entered Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course on Saturday, December 7, where he tried to pull off a similar heist. After forcibly stealing chips from an unspecified table game, Wilson fled through the bus entrance and into the parking garage. A gray Ford Explorer with a noticeable dent in its tailgate was seen quickly exiting the parking structure.

Cops Track Down Suspects

It was the robbery at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course outside of Harrisburg that led to the trio being identified. While Wilson made off with an unknown amount of gaming chips, police managed to locate the gray Ford Explorer hours later at a nearby hotel.

The SUV had California dealer tags instead of the Pennsylvania license plate as it did in November. An officer spotted a man who looked familiar in the hotel lobby and approached him. Wilson identified himself and agreed to allow the cop to inspect his hotel room.

Upon arrival, the officer saw the Ford vehicle key. The state trooper covertly hit the panic button and the vehicle’s horn immediately sounded and its flashers blinked.

Wilson was arrested. During questioning, he admitted to working with Jackson and Paye in the robbery spree. Wilson told police he was to retain 25% of the amount of chips he stole, with Jackson and Paye tasked with laundering the gaming tokens.

Police said surveillance showed the two men at both Hollywood York and Hollywood Penn National playing purple chips without purchasing them and completing several cash withdrawals.

Wilson and Paye are Baltimore residents while Jackson is from Owings Mills. They face an array of felony charges, including conspiracy, receiving stolen property, and theft by unlawful taking.

Wilson remains in county jail after failing to post a $500K bond. Paye does too, though his bail wasn’t detailed in court records. Jackson remains on the lam.

Repeat Offender

Wilson presumably didn’t help his case by admitting to police that this wasn’t the first time he targeted casinos for quick paydays. Wilson said approximately three years ago he was caught and charged for running the same scheme at a casino in Maryland.

Wilson has a lengthy rap sheet in his home state, with charges and convictions for drug possession and intent to deliver, theft, battery, and assault.
