A man was arrested after allegedly driving into four vehicles on Sunday at Iowa’s Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort.

Thomas Richard Nolte, 33, of Ellsworth, Minn., was charged with second-offense operating while under the influence, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident, according to NwestIowa.com, a regional news site.
His truck struck a tour bus and three privately-owned vehicles, all four of which were parked. Total damage was about $6K.
He was driving a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. No one was injured.
Canadian Casino Worker Punched By Visitor
An intoxicated guest at Canada’s Rivers Casino & Entertainment Centre struck a gaming property employee in the face on Sunday.
The man was asked to leave the Fort McMurray, Alberta casino after yelling at workers. He then swung his fist at the worker, police said.
The suspect appeared to be drunk, according to Fort McMurray Today, a local news outlet.
The worker wasn’t seriously injured.
The Wood Buffalo Royal Canadian Mounted Police are searching for the suspect.
He is white, with short hair, and perhaps in his mid-to-late thirties. He was wearing a black hoodie and blue sweatpants.
Gaming Chip Thief Sought
Pennsylvania State Troopers continue to investigate the theft of $17K worth of gaming chips from Hollywood Casino York.
The purple chips were swiped at the Springettsbury Township, Pa. gaming property on November 24, according to the York Daily Record, a local news outlet.
The suspect may have left in a 2017 Ford Explorer.
Atlantic City Casino Robber Avoids Prison
The man who robbed an Atlantic City casino winner isn’t going to prison.
Robert Reed, 51, of Newark, N.J., will instead pay $2,500 in restitution to the victim, according to a recent sentence.
The holdup took place in the parking garage at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City in March 2023.
Reed and the victim first met on the casino floor. The victim had won $20K while playing poker. Reed told his intended victim, he needed a ride after missing a public bus. The victim agreed and the two walked into the garage.
Reed used a wine bottle to hit the man in the head. He suffered unspecified injuries. Reed then grabbed $10K and personal items from the victim.
While in court, State Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Wilson lowered the amount Reed must pay because he couldn’t afford the stolen amount, $10K, according to NJ.com, a regional news outlet.
In May, Reed was found guilty of robbery, aggravated assault, theft, and weapons offenses. He could have been sentenced to 10 years in prison, according to the report.
If Reed successfully completes his probationary period, his criminal record will be cleared of the charges.
Reed’s case was turned over to a recovery court, a program aimed at those convicts who are suffering from substance abuse. He was released from custody in December.
