Sweepstakes casino platform Modo is venturing into prediction markets through a new all-in-one mobile gaming app.

Miami-based ARB Interactive announced Monday (Nov. 2) a new app for Modo. Dubbed the Super Gaming App, the new Modo combines and expands the company’s business categories into an all-in-one download.
The Super Gaming App combines social casino and sweepstakes games with arcades, digital collectibles, and prediction market trading.
Players shouldn’t need five different apps to enjoy five different ways to play,” said Patrick Fechtmeyer, CEO of ARB Interactive. “We want Modo to be America’s destination for gaming, bringing more products and experiences together under one account and one wallet.”
The Super Gaming App consists of three core functions: Play, Rips, and Predict.
Rips offer players digital collectible card packs for purchase with the chance to win valuable tokens and real-world prizes. Play involves the Modo sweepstakes and arcade games, and the forthcoming Predict will offer real-money predictions on the outcomes of events and sports.
Sweepstakes Bet on Prediction Markets
Modo Casino is ARB Interactive’s flagship brand, with the sweepstakes casino a leader in the so-called “Social+” space.
Sweepstakes casinos claim to operate lawfully by running promotional sweepstakes rather than traditional gambling. The platforms allow consumers to play gambling games for free, but offer a secondary “sweeps” coin for purchase that can later be redeemed for cash.
Critics, including numerous state gaming regulators, attorneys general, and the American Gaming Association, say sweepstakes casinos are designed to circumvent state gambling laws. Many states have since banned sweepstakes gaming through legislation or cease-and-desist orders, including California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Washington, and West Virginia.
Although prediction markets gained federal approval to trade on sports under the second Trump administration, they remain under state and federal scrutiny.
But with President Donald Trump serving through January 2029, Congress is unlikely to pass legislation curbing the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC) authority over these markets. And a U.S. Supreme Court ruling subjecting federal swap markets to state gaming laws would not single-handedly stop the industry.
Federal Oversight
The federal government climate, regardless of whether Democrats make expected gains today (Nov. 3) in Congress, is keeping prediction markets attractive for online gaming firms.
Modo joins MyPrize in venturing into the prediction market space. MyPrize was the first social sweepstakes casino to announce a prediction market, confirming a partnership with Crypto.com in November 2025.
ARB did not announce a prediction market partner. Modo cannot launch a prediction market without a platform partner holding a Designated Contract Market (DCM) designation from the CFTC. A DCM license authorizes operators to facilitate trading on futures, options, and derivatives tied to commodities as defined under the Commodity Exchange Act.
