‘Ghost Adventures’ Star Files for Divorce From Wife Accused of Ordering Him Killed

  • “Ghost Adventures” star Aaron Goodwin has filed for divorce from his wife
  • Victoria Goodwin stands accused of plotting his murder with a Florida prisoner she met and flirted with online
  • It’s not easy to stay married to someone who does that

In one of the least surprising news stories ever to come out of Las Vegas, “Ghost Adventures” star Aaron Goodwin filed divorce papers against his wife, Victoria, on Wednesday. Because it can’t be easy staying married to the woman accused of ordering your murder.

It’s actually more surprising that it took a full week to happen. Victoria, 32, was arrested on March 6 for plotting his murder-for-hire with a prisoner she met and flirted with online.

“There is no possibility of reconciliation between Husband and Wife,” read the papers filed in district court, which indicated they had been together since 2020.

The divorce filing asks that neither party be awarded alimony from the other and that joint assets and debts be divided. Additionally, they request that Aaron be reimbursed for “any and all waste of community assets,” presumably referring to both of their attorneys’ fees.

Pretty Solid Grounds

Victoria is alleged to have promised Grant Amato — an inmate serving life in a Florida prison after being found guilty of murdering his parents and brother in 2019 — $11K to have a hitman kill Aaron.

“Am I a bad person,” Victoria’s arrest report quotes her asking in one of their message threads, “because I chose to end his existence, not divorce?”

According to TMZ, Aaron received the shocking news of her arrest while cameras were rolling on the set of “Ghost Adventures.” He was apparently unaware of the situation, believing both his marriage, and his chances of not being murdered, to be good.

Victoria remains at the Clark County Detention Center, into which she was booked on suspicion of conspiracy and solicitation to commit murder. She has not made bail, which is set at $100K.

Victoria admitted texting with Amato, according to her arrest report, but told police she does not recall discussing having her husband whacked.

Her next court date, a preliminary hearing, is scheduled for March 25.
