“A Legendary Lunch with the 1985 Bears Champions” will feature a multicourse lunch, moderated Q&A session, photo ops, autograph signings, meet-and-greets, and a silent auction benefiting Opportunity Village and Make-A-Wish Nevada.

The venue is, appropriately, the Amore Taste of Chicago deep-dish pizzeria at 3945 S. Durango Drive.

Da Bears

The 1985 Chicago Bears are widely regarded as one of the greatest teams in NFL history. Led by head coach Mike Ditka, they dominated the 1985 season with a 15-1 record, then won Super Bowl XX against the New England Patriots, 46-10.

That sweet victory was recalled often during a recurring 1991 “Saturday Night Live” sketch. Called “Bill Swerski’s Superfans,” it starred Mike Myers, Robert Smigel, and Chris Farley at their best.

The event will run from noon to 3 pm both days. Tickets, $250 per person, are available by calling (702) 562-9000.

Was wondering if anyone was interested in receiving a mini helmet from me to get signed by all players.
