UFC 315 kicks off tonight, at Montreal’s Bell Centre, the first time the UFC has been in Quebec’s largest city in a decade, led by a welterweight title bout between Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena.

One story this morning is that Georges St-Pierre, the local boy and a UFC Hall of Famer, a champion in the 170-pound division, will be a cornerman for No. 15 Aiemann Zahabi in his featherweight fight with Jose Aldo, ranked 11, and says he’d be open to wrapping the champion gold belt around either current champ Muhammad or Maddalena.
“Of course, if they want me to do it, I’ll do it,” St-Pierre told Sportsnet. “But Saturday I’m gonna work as a cornerman and my priority is to be there for Aiemann Zahabi.”
The main card gets going at 10 p.m. EST, with prelims at 8 p.m. EST.

According to a spokesperson from ESPN BET, 82.5% of bets and 66.3% of handle are on Muhammad to win, with 26.1% of bets, 30.3% of handle having him win on points, 23.9% of bets, 11.1% of handle by KO, 15.2% of bets, 5.1% of handle by submission.
In the women’s title bout, 16% of bets and 53% of handle are on Manon Fiorot to win. Shevchenko’s most bet method of victory: KO 26.3% of bets, 24.7% of handle, points 26.3% of bets, 23.9% of handle, and submission 10.5% of bets, 11.8% of handle.

Fifty-one per cent of the bets at BetMGM are on the Muhammad, 71% of handle. Shevchenko, despite being the underdog, is seeing 79% of bets, 62% of handle. Aldo is the odds favourite in his bout with Zahabi – at -189, with Zahabi at +155.
