Here’s some good news for anyone lacking the perfect example to cite for Las Vegas not being what it used to be. A video posted to the live-streaming platform Kick.com on Sunday documents Resorts World refusing to comp drinks for a well-known high-roller playing $25,000 blackjack hands because he wasn’t staying at the hotel.

Xposed (real name: Cody Burnett), who has 400,000 followers on Twitch, live-streamed his gambling exploits with three friends at Red Rock and Resorts World on Sunday.
At one point during their blackjack play at Resorts World, while Xposed is playing blackjack for $25,000 a hand, he asks a server for a water and an orange juice. His friend then piggybacks on the order, requesting a strawberry-banana smoothie.
“Sure,” the server replies. “You have a room with us?”

When Xposed and his friends answer no, the server replies in a stammering delivery suggesting that he realizes how bad he’s about to make his employer look by repeating what he seems to have been instructed to say.
“Uhh, I can’t comp it but I can … yeah,” the server says.
“We would have to comp it,” Xposed cuts the server off, fully aware of how reasonable his request is. “I mean, we’re playing $25,000 hands.”
When the server asks if the players would like to speak to his manager, Xposed replies, “Yes, please.”
“This is, like, the difference between Red Rock and here,” says the friend who requested the smoothie.
A third friend, who has until then been laughing maniacally at what his eyes and ears were telling him he was witnessing, tries to react but can only form the words: “Jesus Christ, that’s wild!”
Check out the exchange starting at 5:43 in this video.

When X user @M19190191 isolated and shared the exchange, the internet exploded, immediately and predictably. His clip generated nearly 750,000 views in less than 24 hours.
“People need to stop going to casinos that act like that,” commented @SATX_Poker. “I bet a fraction of this on BJ 300/500 a hand and Bellagio, Aria and Venetian bend over backwards to make sure I’m happy and get what I want.”
“Free parking and no resort fee is just putting lipstick on a pig,” added @SkylarJameson1, referring to the promotions undertaken by Resorts World this summer to position itself as a value destination.
“They need to make up the millions in fines to the gaming board they paid,” commented @CasablancaRic, referring to the second-largest fine in Las Vegas history, approved against Resorts World in March for money-laundering.
The funniest comment came from the sharp social media manager at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa.
“Wait what did he say?” the account replied, referring to the earlier comment about Red Rock.
Xposed himself tweeted his own version on Tuesday, achieving 118K views within eight hours.
“$25,000 Bets, but had a hard time getting a $10 smoothie for free… lol,” he wrote.
Resorts World did not immediately reply to Casino.org‘s request for a comment.

I frequently watch the Xposed stream. He is an online gambler. He gambles on Stake a lot but he also plays Blackjack and Baccarat in Vegas. The casinos allow him to video his play as he is in the high limit room. He normally plays at Red Rock Casino and gets comped there. Anything he wants, they give him. Sometimes I see Dana White (CEO for UFC) in the videos. It is fun watching the Blackjack and Baccarat streams.
How is Videotaping inside Resorts World okay? Is that their policy? I figure this crew was pretty sure that the Smoothie Request would be denied so they recorded it! Guess they got the attention they needed. And as far as person who said they would go to In and Out for it that makes zero sense. Who would be at Resorts World if another Hotshot Group showed up? I think leaving the property is a no no when on your shift too.
Free Cocktails are a Privledge not a Right. Does anyone realize the the thousands of drinks served to the Freeloaders constantly in Casinos? When the Customers Name is on the Marquee then they might have their say.
I used to work at RW, and based on how they were when I worked there, I believe this to be true. Their compimg procedures are so ridiculous. I watched them give a guest who was 100 thousand in a hard time over a glass of fresh watermelon juice!! This particular guest didn't drink alcohol and just wanted freshly squeezed juice, which they make daily. And that is just one of the stupid things I witnessed while employed there. So yes, I believe this story is true and accurate because I have witnessed it many times. I was a beverage manager with this company. One of the worst jobs I've ever had in my life!
“Asks a Casino Host”…which guy was the host? You write for casino.org and this is your evaluation of the situation?
Doubt that happened. I play video poker in the high roller room at Resorts World for $2.50 a hand and they have always compd my expensive wine requests.
I've been treated better playing $25 hands
Karla, they're playing $25,000 a hand. If I was the host and they wanted a shake from In-N-Out, I would have personally went and got one and paid with my own money.
So... since everyone is so familiar with casinos. Sometimes items such as a smoothie are not at the casino bar.. also some beers.. waters that might be found at food outlets, room service, Starbucks that aren't in the casino bars capacity to serve..but a check needs to be generated. They might only have a system that they sign it to a room to como it.. who knows..... but anytime you want something not at the casino bar... it can be filled with paperwork...
Lots of staged videos on the Internet for clout. Corporate greed has put a death watch on Vegas. If this video is real, that clock just moved a bit closer to the end.
I cannot believe they didn't pick up shop & leave that casino. I would've been outta there so fast. Las Vegas casino executives must not be aware that w/ proliferation of gambling in American states, Las Vegas isn't needed anymore if gambling is your thing. I play the casino on Stake & I get comp'ed more than a $10 dollar smoothie. What the hell happened to this place? They completely killed the vibe w/ feeing you to death, $60 pizzas, & now failing to comp folks playing TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR HANDS! What a joke of a casino.
