UFC has named online gambling platform NetBet as its Official Sportsbook and Betting Partner across UK, Ireland, Greece, Italy and Romania.

NetBet Gets Big Marketing Plug

The two sides will roll out the partnership this Saturday with UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Brady, live from The O2 in London. NetBet will have a presence in the Octagon, on UFC’s international broadcast feed and across digital and social media platforms.

UFC has a similar deal with Stake in Brazil, and with DraftKing in the U.S. and Canada. UFC is part of TKO Group Holdings, headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Edwards-Brady Welterweight Main Card

The main card at the event Saturday is a welterweight matchup between Leon Edwards (No. 1) of England and Sean Brady (No. 5) from the U.S. Edwards is a former welterweight champ who returns to the Octagon for the first time since losing the title to Belal Muhammad last summer. Up to that fight, he had won 13 straight, so he will be out to prove he is still one of the elite fighters in the 170-pound ranks. Brady is considered a serious contender.

UFC Makes 30th Visit to UK

Brady is the money line favorite at NetBet at 1.58, with Edwards at 2.37.

Saturday night is the UFC’s 16th visit to London and 30th visit to the UK, making it the fourth nation to cross the 30-event mark (U.S., Brazil and Canada being the others).
