Bragg Gaming Group, the Toronto-based igaming content and platform technology solutions provider, serving online and land-based gaming operators, announced a partnership with RapidPlay, a Brazilian game development studio.
Top Brazilian Online Casino Content Company
The Brazilian company is known for its localized and “culturally attuned” online casino content tailored to the Brazilian and Latin American market.
Bragg is a taking an equity stake in RapidPlay, the company announced in a statement. The two parties are signing an exclusive commercial distribution agreement “at standard market terms”.
This is all part of a strategy by Bragg that sees them being more expansionist in the Brazil regulated igaming market, which went live Jan. 1 of this year.
Aggressive Brazil Expansion
Where the North American gaming markets were traditionally built on steppers, Brazil has a long history of Jogo De Bicho, later seeing significant success with 3×3 games paired with bonus games, and as of late, Crash games,” Sara Mosallaee, the Regional Director, Latin America market, for Bragg, told Casino.org in January.
“Players in both markets started out the same way, looking for simple games, but then players in the U.S. moved into more complex layered games, while Brazilians retained their interest in refined simple games.”
$3.7 Billion Market by 2030
“The important part for suppliers is to offer that low entry level to players from Brazil, and allow them to reach bonus games, which may result in high jackpot wins,” she said then. “Games that do that have proven to be very successful.”
With this new agreement, Bragg will now offer RapidPlay’s full content portfolio to its expanding base of licensed Brazilian igaming operators. Titles developed under the partnership will be powered by Bragg’s Fuze proprietary technology that features real-time gamification, player retention tools, and promotional capabilities
RapidPlay was founded to create genuinely Brazilian gaming experiences,” said Rafael Roos Bordignon, CEO and Co-Founder of RapidPlay. “Joining forces with Bragg gives us the scale and structure to do that with even greater impact. We’re excited to enter this next phase together.”
Bragg also has the option to acquire a controlling interest in RapidPlay “should future strategic condition align”.
Canadian gaming: Big Plans for 2025
The online casino market in Brazil is projected to be worth USD $1.4 billion in 2025, and USD $3.7 billion by 2030, according to H2 Gambling Capital. Bragg is hoping that the Brazil igaming market will represent up to 10% of the company’s total revenue in 2025.
This partnership with RapidPlay is more than just an investment – it’s a strategic move that strengthens our differentiated local content proposition,” said Neill Whyte, Chief Commercial Officer, Bragg Gaming Group. “The studio combines creative excellence with operational efficiency, making it an ideal partner for our expansion efforts in the region.”
