Bragg Goes Live in Second Canadian Province

The online casino content agreement marks the expansion of Bragg into its second Canadian province. The Toronto-based igaming content and platform technology solutions provider entered the Ontario market in March 2022.

In Quebec, unlike the Ontario igaming market, the crown corporation Loto-Québec is the only place where people can gamble legally.

Exclusive Content

With this agreement, Loto-Québec players will get access to exclusive content, including titles from Bragg’s in-house proprietary content development studios, games that include Atomic Slot Lab and Indigo Magic.

Those are delivered through Bragg’s Remote Games Server technology, via the Bragg HUB platform.

It’s fantastic to see Bragg’s content expand into our second Canadian province,” said Garrick Morris, Senior Vice President, Commercial, U.S. and Canada at Bragg Gaming Group. “Loto-Québec is a strategic partner, and we are excited to see our proprietary games as well as exclusive content from our partners live and available to Loto-Québec players. We look forward to developing our relationship as a key supplier to Loto-Québec as we continue the roll-out with regular new game releases planned.”

Quebec’s iGaming Monopoly

Quebec players will also have access to titles from multiple content partners under the Powered By Bragg program, including King Show Games, Bluberi, Incredible Technologies and Sega Sammy Creation.

The content via Loto-Québec’s platform comes with Bragg’s Fuze promotional tools which offer player engagement features on games such as free rounds, jackpots, tournaments and quests.

“We’ve enjoyed strong growth in North America over the past 12 months and I am pleased to further support this momentum with this successful launch in Québec,” said Morris.

Push to Open the Quebec Market

Loto-Québec no doubt needs to strengthen its competitive position in the province by offering more product, with Ontario’s open, competitive igaming market now one of the largest in North America, and Alberta soon coming online with an Ontario-style igaming market, likely in 2025.

The Quebec Online Gaming Coalition, comprised of Betway, Bet99, DraftKings, Entain, Flutter, Games Global and Rush Street Interactive, partnering with Apricot Investments, is committed to working with the Quebec government and local stakeholders to develop a new regulatory framework for the province, similar to Ontario’s.

“At Loto-Québec, we are always looking for new and exciting ways to entertain our players,” said Francois Hardy, Senior Director of Product and Innovation at Loto-Québec, in a written statement. “Bragg perfectly aligns with this vision, enabling us to provide a refreshing and dynamic experience to our players.”

Late last month, Bragg released financial projections for 2025 that outlined strong growth trajectory.

Bragg Committed to Expansion

“I am pleased with where we believe 2024 results will land and very excited about the strong growth trajectory outlined in our 2025 guidance,” said Matevž Mazij, CEO of Bragg.

Our strategic investments in proprietary and exclusive content as well as various Data, Player journey and AI enhanced engagement features, are expected to drive our growth in 2025. By focusing on margin-accretive products, we are well-positioned to boost both revenue and profitability while pursuing opportunities in key markets such as Brazil and the United States.

In January Bragg announced the company was now live in the newly opened Brazil market with its product.
