According to TMZ, the 21-year-old Las Vegas resident and Floyd Mayweather protégé was pulled over after a LoJack alert flagged the vehicle he was driving as stolen. During their traffic stop, officers discovered Diaz was in possession of a concealed firearm, but had no legal permit for it.

Diaz was booked into Clark County Detention Center on possession of a stolen vehicle and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.

Both are Class C felonies in Nevada, punishable by up to five years in prison each. His bail was set at $10K.

The 5-foot-5, 118-lb. slugger — nicknamed “Cash Flow” and trained by Mayweather since childhood — has a 13-0 record. His last win took place in September at Madison Square Garden, where he clobbered Mario Hernandez by unanimous decision.

That victory made him a ranked WBC bantamweight contender eyeing a 2025–26 shot against champion Junto Nakatani.

He is scheduled to appear before a Clark County judge on Friday.
