Airbnb Offers ‘Inside Out’ Crib in Las Vegas

To celebrate Friday’s release of the movie “Inside Out 2,” Airbnb is engaging in a feat of crass commercialism that would trigger Disgust, but also tickle Joy. It has recreated Riley’s Emotional HQ in the real world and is offering it for 15 one-night stays this summer.

Riley is the animated star of the Disney/Pixar series whose emotions (Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear) are personified as characters living inside her brain.

The price is right — 100% free. So this is basically a contest, like each and every Taylor Swift tour onsale is, to see who’s lucky enough to book first.

Joy’s is the only bedroom revealed by Airbnb. Hopefully, the other bedroom isn’t Anxiety’s, because who wants that bedroom? (Image: Airbnb)

Constructed in 24 days, the structure features two bedrooms and two baths. It’s located 18 miles northwest of the Strip on the grounds of a privately owned, 40-acre family farm and animal rescue called GreenGale Farms.

The one-night stays will be available from July 1 to July 16, for four guests each.

Booking will run from 6 a.m. PT June 18 through 11:59 p.m. June 22 at airbnb.com/insideout2.

Riley’s Emotional HQ will be dismantled at the end of the summer, and that will definitely trigger Sadness.
