UPDATE: The 43-foot-tall naked Donald Trump has been removed from the side of the I-15 Freeway near Las Vegas. According to its organizers, the political art installation, which the GOP calls “deplorable,” is en route to other battleground states.

EARLIER: Donald Trump is back in Las Vegas this weekend, but not in the way he planned.

A 43-foot replica of the Republican presidential contender, wearing nothing but his birthday suit, currently towers over Interstate 15 on the way to Utah.

Not everything about the art installation towers, however. Specifically, Donald Trump Jr. — the other Donald Trump Jr. — is insultingly small.

The installation, according to a press release from its yet-to-be-identified creators, is intended as “a bold statement on transparency, vulnerability, and the public personas of political figures.”

Titled “Crooked and Obscene,” it is made of foam-covered metal rebar and weighs about 6,000 lbs. It also moves, since it’s technically a marionette hung from a crane. Its arms are the only body part observed moving so far.

Giant Naked Trump was installed under cover of darkness on Friday at 13460 Apex Harbor Lane in North Las Vegas, which is a parking lot appropriately adjacent to a business called Love’s Storage Solutions.

Who’s the Erector?

A prime suspect should be Joshua Monroe. A Las Vegas resident who designs monsters for horror films and haunted houses, Monroe was commissioned by the art collective INDECLINE to create five similar, though only 8-feet-tall, naked foam Trumps during the runup to the 2016 election.

Titled “The Emperor Has No Balls,” they were installed without permits in Cleveland, LA, New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle that August.

All were removed by authorities within a day. The New York City Parks Department issued an only-in-New-York statement explaining that it “stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small.”

How long this naked Trump will be allowed to stand where it is may be an irrelevant question, as its creators say they intend to take it on a “Crooked and Obscene Tour” of several American cities before Erection Election Day.
