The World of Hyatt, the loyalty program of Chicago-headquartered Hyatt Hotels Corporation, is living up to its global name in its latest promotion.

Hyatt revealed to Casino.org this week that its newest marketing ploy will allow its loyal guests to hit the jackpot at 20 casino destinations worldwide all the while racking up additional rewards points for future reservations. World of Hyatt members will earn 777 bonus points for every night stayed (up to 10 nights, or 7,770 points) at participating casino hotels for stays running from April 10 through June 9, 2025.
“Explore 20 participating hotels and resorts worldwide, from the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas and Macau to the dreamy beaches of the Caribbean,” the promotion read.
In Las Vegas, eligible hotels include The Venetian/Palazzo and Rio. Another option in Nevada is the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. Additional domestic casino properties qualifying for the 777 promo are Hollywood Casino at The Meadows in Pennsylvania and Resorts World New York City.
The Caribbean is where most of the qualifying Hyatt casino properties are located. They include Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, Hyatt Regency Aruba, Dreams Curacao, Sunscape Curacao, and Secrets, Dreams, Sunscape, and Breathless Punta Cana.
For global jetsetters, the World of Hyatt casino portfolio lends to the Grand Hyatt and Andaz in China’s Macau, Grand Hyatt Jeju in South Korea, Hyatt City of Dreams in the Philippines’ Manila, and Hyatt Regency in Greece’s Thessaloniki.
The Park Hyatt Mendoza in Argentina is the lone property in South America.
Gaming Emphasis
Hyatt, which is owned by the family of Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D), is the world’s seventh-largest hotel company by the number of locations. Hilton is third in terms of revenue behind only Marriott International and Jinjiang International, the latter being a tourism and hospitality giant in China.
Hyatt has focused on expanding its hotel portfolio with gaming facilities since MGM Resorts terminated its longstanding relationship in 2023. After MGM ditched Hyatt, the hotelier needed new partnerships to keep its points program attractive for gamblers who like to travel.
In Las Vegas, Hyatt found a partner in Rio, which was sold by Caesars Entertainment in 2019 to Dreamscape Companies. The off-Strip resort, however, isn’t nearly the draw that MGM’s marquee properties like the Bellagio and Aria are.
Hyatt remedied the luxury loss by striking an accord with The Venetian Resort last December. The Venetian and Palazzo have a combined 7,000 rooms and 2.25 million square feet of convention space.
Las Vegas is a perennial favorite for World of Hyatt members and our group business customers are requesting rooms at a higher volume than pre-pandemic due to the world-class entertainment and unique experiences offered by this dynamic destination,” Mark Vondrasek, Hyatt’s chief commercial officer, said at the time.
Last year, to celebrate its 25th anniversary, The Venetian Resort completed a $1.5 billion renovation.
Redeeming Hyatt Points
So, what do 777 World of Hyatt points get one? Not much, but the promotion, should one stay a few nights, will help reward members unlock free room nights.
Free nights begin at just 3,500 points for lower-end properties during off-peak periods. But for a two-night weekend stay at The Venetian (4/18-4/20), a World of Hyatt member would need to shell out 60,750 points a night, or 121,500 points for the 48-hour stay.
A perk of World of Hyatt membership is that The Venetian’s nightly resort fee is included in all free nights.
