Ansel’s new concept, described as inspired by the sidewalk markets in France, will move into the space formerly occupied by JJ’s Boulangerie. Its menu will include savory items like rotisserie chicken and potatoes.

I’ve always loved the open-air markets that often pop up throughout Paris, where you can find the best and freshest foods,” Ansel said in a press release.

Dominique Ansel Marché will also include desserts such as croissants, viennoiserie, cakes, and, of course, cronuts.

We wrote “of course” because Ansel happens to be the inventor of the cronut, a cross between a croissant and a doughnut.

Chef Ethan Spiezer will reopen his pizzeria this summer at 8390 W Sahara Ave, Suite 130. After the Test Kitchen’s closure last year, Solamente shared a space in the Town Square shopping mall for several months and was one of about 20 restaurants spoofed by impostor listings on Uber Eats and other food delivery apps.
