Stockman’s Casino Unveils Year-Long Remodel, Adds Sports Betting Partnership

Stockman’s Casino is 57 years old, so she’s allowed to have some work. Fallon’s largest casino marked the completion of a year-long renovation at a Sept. 18, 2026 ribbon cutting, capping an overhaul that reached nearly every part of its roughly 8,600-square-foot gaming floor.  

General manager Lou Capone told the Nevada Appeal the makeover included new carpet throughout, an overhauled HVAC system, a redesigned back-of-house kitchen and the replacement of more than half the floor’s slot machines—which now number 235, up from 189 before the remodel, alongside four table games.

Stockman’s has also added sports betting through a partnership with Boomer’s Sportsbook, a Nevada-focused operator that installed a wagering kiosk on the gaming floor five months ago. After in-person ID verification at the casino, players can bet statewide using the Boomer’s app. William Hill previously held the book.

The café was also upgraded—demolished and rebuilt in what Capone called “a more classic style.”

 “We’re excited to have inherited a great team and a building with great bones, but it was a bit tired,” Capone  told the Appeal. “So we reinvested in it to bring it back to close to where (Jim) Peters had it when he sold it many years ago.”  

Taking Stockman

Clarity Game Nevada, LLC—led by Nevada natives David Ross and Michael Gaughan III, with minority partners including sports-betting executive Joe Asher—bought the real estate from Full House Resorts in September 2024 and took over operations April 1, 2025, for a combined $9.2 million.

Full House Resorts acquired it from the Peters family in January 2007 and operated it until April 2025.

Though the current building is 57 years old, the name is 71. Stockman’s Casino has operated as a Fallon institution since 1955. According to company materials, it served the local agricultural community and cattle ranchers, which explains its name. (“Stockman” is short for the livestockmen employed by ranches to breed, raise, herd and manage livestock.)

The present building was constructed in 1969 by Ken and Glenda Bendickson and Herb Peters. The Bendicksons were partners through about 1971. Herb retired in 1989 and sold to his son Jim and daughter-in-law Kathryn. The Peters family then sold to Full House in 2007.
