President Trump Returns to Las Vegas for Rally at Red Rock Casino. Here’s How to Get Tickets

President Donald Trump is returning to Las Vegas, with the former casino owner scheduled to deliver a speech on Wednesday (Aug. 5) at 1:30 p.m. local time at Red Rock Casino Resort.

Trump will stay tonight at Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, the nongaming hotel and residential tower that he jointly owns with billionaire Phil Ruffin.

After scheduled executive time on Wednesday morning, the president’s schedule shows he will travel to Red Rock Casino Resort, the Summerlin property owned by the Fertitta family, who have been longtime Republican donors and maintain close ties with Trump.

At Red Rock, Trump is expected to promote how his policies have helped working Nevadans, with “No Tax on Tips” most in focus.

“President Trump will visit Las Vegas to highlight how his Working Families Tax Cuts are delivering real results for American workers. By passing ‘No Tax on Tips,’ no tax on Social Security, and no tax on overtime, President Trump and Republicans guaranteed Americans receive bigger paychecks and keep more of their hard-earned money,” read a statement from the White House.

“The President will remind Nevadans that every single Democrat opposed these commonsense reforms and fought to massively raise taxes on working families,” the White House added.

Las Vegas Connection

Trump last visited Las Vegas in April, where he also touted “No Tax on Tips” while appearing at the new AC Hotel at Symphony Park. During the speech, Trump credited a Las Vegas waitress for the idea of making tips tax-free.

“Las Vegas is the birthplace of a little idea known as ‘No Tax on Tips.’ This is the birthplace. A young waitress came up to me during dinner, and she said, ‘Sir, we should have no tax on tips.’ I said, ‘That’s the greatest thing I’ve ever heard.’ I walked outside to the fake news media and said, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, there will be no tax on tips.’ That was it,” Trump said.

The “No Tax on Tips” pledge was realized through the president and Republicans’ One Big Beautiful Bill, which Trump signed into law on July 4, 2025. For the federal tax years 2025 through 2028, tipped workers can deduct up to $25,000 in gratuities from their federal income tax liability.

Democrats aren’t keen on attending Trump’s Red Rock rally.

“Donald Trump is coming to town while Nevadans are getting crushed by sky-high grocery, utility, housing, and health care bills,” said Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno.

Midterms Looming

Trump is beginning to canvass the country ahead of this November’s 2026 midterm elections. The Nov. 3 contest will determine the balance of power in Congress, as all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 Senate seats are on the ballot.

According to the RealClearPolitics Average, an unweighted mathematical mean of recent public opinion polls, less than 39% of the voters approve of Trump’s job performance. That’s the lowest approval rating at any point in his two terms.

The president dismissed the pollsters this week in a social media post.

“My REAL Polling Numbers, not those made up by the Fake News Media, are the best they have ever been, and why wouldn’t they be with the biggest tax cuts and employment numbers EVER, the biggest outside Investment in America in World history, a totally secure Border, a giant Victory in Venezuela, the Denuclearization of Iran, unparalleled respect and success throughout the World, and much more?” Trump declared.
