Fanatics, the global sports platform, is looking to up its prediction market game in time for the start of the NBA playoffs with the introduction of Combos, which will allow players to combine various outcomes like player props, winners, spreads and totals across sports, games or within one game into one contract.

Various Outcomes In One Contract

Fanatics jumped into the prediction market space in December 2025, letting players trade yes/no event contracts on sports, politics, economics, finance and culture. Fanatics Markets, a subsidiary of Fanatics, is powered by Crypto.com’s federally regulated prediction market infrastructure, registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

The NBA playoffs start tomorrow, typically a time when there’s high betting activity on the sport in the U.S. Combos are now available across professional basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, football, boxing, MMA and tennis, with more sports on the way, a Fanatics statement said.

NBA Playoffs Start Tomorrow

A Fanatics spokesperson said the company plans on further enhancing the trading experience in the coming weeks. The introduction of Combos is the first upgrade, since it was the product most requested by their customers.

Players can make up to four picks. For example, with the NBA, it could be a “yes” combo on Orlando Magic +3.5 spread, Hornets winner, and the Over 219.5 total, in $5, $10, or $20 increments, at 11%. All three in this case must be correct to win.

It’s similar to a parlay in sports betting. Day 3 of the NBA Play-In is today with the Charlotte Hornets in Orlando to take on the Magic and the Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors in Phoenix tonight to play the Suns. At Fanatics Markets this afternoon, “yes” shares on the Hornets were priced at .60, Magic were at .40. while the Suns were priced at .59, the Warrior at .42.

Other prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket offer product similar to Combos.

The NBA is popular among bettors since there is more inventory – 82 games versus 16 in football, for example, and the NBA playoffs are a heightened part of that, with games on national television.

The NBA playoffs get going tomorrow with the Toronto Raptors in Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers at 1 p.m. EST, followed by the Minnesota Timberwolves in Denver to play the Nuggets at 3:30 p.m., the Atlanta Hawks in New York to play the Knicks at 6 p.m., and the Houston Rockets in L.A. to play the Lakers at 8:30 p.m.

Fanatics Markets is available on iOS and Android in 24 U.S. states and four U.S. Territories.
