Paramount+ secures naming rights for T-Mobile Arena plaza in Las Vegas

Key Points

  • T-Mobile Arena’s two-acre outdoor plaza has rebranded from Toshiba Plaza to Paramount+ Plaza under a multi-year deal
  • Paramount+ becomes the venue's exclusive streaming partner, succeeding Toshiba's decade-long sponsorship
  • The space debuts this week by hosting the public weigh-in for Zuffa Boxing's Garcia vs. Benn

The plaza, located directly outside the arena on the Las Vegas Strip, has served as the main gathering point for Golden Knights fans since the venue opened in 2016. Toshiba’s original 2015 naming-rights agreement with venue owner Las Vegas Arena Company—a joint venture between AEG and MGM Resorts International—expired last year.

Though no financial terms for the Paramount+ agreement were disclosed, naming‑rights deals of this type typically run for a decade and command seven‑figure annual payments. Toshiba secured the rights from the Las Vegas Arena Company partnership of AEG and MGM Resorts International in 2015 in a sponsorship that expired last year.

Exclusive Streaming Partnership

Under the new arrangement, Paramount+ becomes T‑Mobile Arena’s exclusive streaming partner, giving the service a prominent on‑site presence tied to its slate of original programming, films, live sports, and franchise content.

Dan Quinn, MGM Resorts’ senior VP of entertainment, said the rebrand marks a new phase for one of the Strip’s most visible entertainment spaces.

“The plaza has been an integral part of the T-Mobile Arena experience for the last 10 years and this partnership creates new opportunities to deliver even more energy and entertainment to the millions of visitors who visit the destination each year,” he said in a statement.

The rebranded plaza is expected to feature Paramount+‑driven experiences, including live programming tie‑ins, themed activations, and event‑week fan engagement.

Fight Week Debut

Paramount+ Plaza will make its first official appearance during the weigh-in for the welterweight championship boxing match between Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn under Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing banner. The weigh-in will take place at the plaza on Friday (Sept. 11) and will be open to the public.

The fight itself, set for Saturday, Sept. 12 at T‑Mobile Arena, will stream live on Paramount+ for subscribers worldwide, except in the U.K. and Ireland.

MGM wasn't going to offer this up to Tubi (owned by Fox) a free App for streaming (I'm well aware of that Paramount owns Pluto TV, a free streaming App).
