‘Mormon Wives’ Reality Show to Stage Live Las Vegas Show

The stars of the popular reality show “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” are taking the drama to Las Vegas. The Venetian is turning over its Palazzo Theatre to the Hulu sensations for what looks like a single show, called “MomTok: The Unholy Tea,” on June 7.

Exactly what the Vegas stage show will be is anyone’s guess, though the Live Nation press release announcing narrows it down to “a roundtable-style discussion, interactive games, and other surprises.”

“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” which Hulu claims was its No. 1 most-watched unscripted premiere of 2024, spotlights eight supposed Utah TikTok influencers. (Responsible journalism requires all reality show premises to be described as “supposed.”)

A statement attributed to the entire cast described the Venetian show as “our chance to connect, let loose and give audiences an unforgettable girls’ night out in Vegas — a city that’s become such an iconic part of our story.”

We don’t know about iconic, but Vegas did provide the backdrop for a Chippendales visit and lots of gambling, both of which are frowned upon by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). Other LDS-discouraged highlights of the first season included one couple “soft swinging” with other Mormon couples.

Season 2 premieres on May 15, and will undoubtedly include clips of whatever transpires on stage at the Palazzo Theatre, good or bad. (With reality shows, there’s really no downside to bad.)

Tickets for the live show, $45 plus fees, go on sale to the general public 10 a.m. PT Friday, April 4 via Ticketmaster or VenetianLasVegas.com.
