FX Brings ‘Alien: Earth’ Experience to Las Vegas

In space, no one can hear you scream. Not so in the south parking lot of AREA15, where FX will stage a temporary attraction previewing its “Alien: Earth” series on May 16 and 17.

“The Wreckage,” which premiered at SXSW in March, allows visitors to explore the remains of the USCSS Maginot, inside of which guests will “have the chance to discover newly added interactive elements, pulse-pounding thrills, and get up close and personal with alien specimens retrieved by Prodigy Corp,” according to a news release.

In the sci fi series from Noah Hawley (“Fargo,” “Legion”) — premiering on Hulu sometime this summer — a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth in 2120, after which “a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat,” according to FX.

“The Wreckage” attraction will operate from 6 p.m. through midnight on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17 at AREA15’s entrance at 3215 S. Rancho Drive.

Entry is free and open to anyone who is 18 or older. For details, click here. No RSVP is required for entry.
