New $100,000 Prizes

The jackpot starts at $10 million and rolls up to the new max. When that jackpot hits $50 million, they add MAXMILLIONS – extra $1 million prizes.

Also new is a MAXPLUS feature, with multiple $100,000 prizes every draw, scaling up with the jackpot. If the jackpot is $10 million, for example, 10 additional prizes of $100,000 will be drawn, right up to 90 prizes of $100,000 if that jackpot hits $90 million.

Draws happens every Tuesday and Friday. Since there was no winner Friday, the estimated jackpot tomorrow is $25 million, with 25 new MAXPLUS prizes of $100,000 each.

$25 Million Up For Grabs

According to an OLG statement, overall odds of winning any prize have improved from approximately 1 in 7 to 1 in 5.8, while the main jackpot odds change from approximately 1 in 33,294,800 per play to 1 in 33,446,140 per play.

The price for a LOTTO MAX ticket goes from $5 to $6 (4 selections of 7 numbers, with numbers ranging from 1 to 52) to support the enhancements, the first price increase in 17 years.

LOTTO MAX is coordinated by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation. The other national lottery games in Canada are Lotto 6/49 and Daily Grand. LOTTO MAX often has the biggest rolling prizes.

$75 Million Win in B.C.

Last week, someone in Penticton, British Columbia, (B.C.), matched all seven winning numbers to score the whopping $75 million jackpot. The name of the winner, and the location where that person purchased their ticket, will be released after the winner claims their prize.

So far in 2026, B.C. lottery players have redeemed more than $25 million in winnings from LOTTO MAX. The largest lottery prize ever won in B.C. was an $80-million LOTTO MAX jackpot, won in May 2025.

Here’s another increase when it was already too much money to play most people rather pay 2 dollars per play and win smaller jackpots… Here’s another increase when it was already too much money to play most people rather pay 2 dollars per play and win smaller jackpots like a 30 million jackpot and that can change your life the same way as 90 million dollars jackpots can do but more affordable for many families to play.
