Kambi Group has been selected by the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) as the technology and services supplier for a new multi-provincial sportsbook platform.

Multi-Provincial Solution
“Kambi has a long history of working with lottery and state‑owned operators worldwide, and we look forward to delivering a world‑class sports betting experience for players across multiple Canadian provinces,” said Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi Group.
In March 2025, BCLC and ALC announced they were joining forces to launch a new national sports betting solution, inviting other provincial crown corporations to join them. Shortly after, they sent out an RFP via the Merx platform.
Via ALC and BCLC, Kambi will deliver its turnkey sportsbook technology solution shared and delivered among government-run sportsbooks in seven of Canada’s 10 provinces – B.C., Manitoba and Saskatchewan, via BCLC, and New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, via ALC.
New Sportsbook Tech
This collaboration represents an important step forward in how provincial lotteries work together to deliver a consistent, high‑quality sports betting experience for players, while maintaining strong governance within each jurisdiction,” said Scott Eagles, Director of Sports Betting at Atlantic Lottery.
“Through this collective approach, we are focused on prioritising trust, integrity and player protection. Kambi’s proven sportsbook technology, deep experience supporting lottery and state‑owned operators, and ability to deliver across both digital and retail channels made them a strong partner to support our shared objectives and the long‑term future of sports betting for Canadians.”
OLG, Kambi Launch in January
In January, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation announced that Kambi Group had taken over as the operator of the OLG’s Proline sportsbook. After that announcement, OLG launched its Kambi-powered sportsbook Jan. 27.
“Being selected to power this multi-province sportsbook solution is a strong endorsement of Kambi’s trusted technology, regulatory expertise and proven ability to deliver at scale,” said Becher.
“ALC and BCLC have set out a clear vision for a single, consistent sportsbook and we are proud to support its next phase with our high‑performance, compliant and proven Turnkey Sportsbook.”
