Hard Rock Digital today announced a new multi-year partnership with Vancouver-based GeoComply, deepening Hard Rock Bet’s use of GeoComply’s digital identity platform to drive growth while stopping more sophisticated fraud.

Multi-Year Partnership
Today’s announcement between Hard Rock Digital and GeoComply is an expansion of a partnership that had already been in place, a GeoComply spokesperson said. GeoComply, headquartered in Vancouver, provides fraud prevention and cybersecurity solutions that detect location fraud and helps verify a user’s true digital identity for clients located around the world.
Hard Rock Digital is using GeoComply’s digital identity platform across onboarding, fraud prevention, and compliance. IDComply, GeoComply’s all-in-one KYC and AML platform, serves as the core of their broader digital identity solution – fast, compliant onboarding with real-time risk monitoring and minimal user friction.
The system verifies user identities by cross-checking personal details like name, date of birth, address and SSN against multiple authoritative sources in a single API call, preventing fraud like identity theft, bonus abuse and multi-accounting.
Digital Identity Platform
The objective is to detect threats in real-time, combining machine learning with real-world signal intelligence, to shut down spoofing.
“In today’s environment, operators are recognizing that fragmented identity and location intelligence solutions create both risk and friction,” said Kip Levin, CEO of GeoComply.
“Hard Rock Bet figured out early that security and growth move together. By bringing together geolocation, fraud and digital identity in a single platform, operators can detect emerging threats faster and make more accurate decisions at scale.”
Hard Rock Bet Operates in 10 U.S. States
Hard Rock Digital is the online gaming and sports betting arm of Hard Rock International and the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The company operates the Hard Rock Bet platform for online sports wagering and igaming.
Hard Rock Digital jumped into the regulated U.S. sports betting market in 2021, initially under the Hard Rock Sportsbook brand before rebranding to Hard Rock Bet in 2023.
Hard Rock Bet currently operates regulated online sports betting in ten U.S. states (Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, and Virginia), and offers online casino in New Jersey and Michigan.
Location Intelligence
Hard Rock has skated around Ontario licensing. In 2025, it was reported the company was applying for an Ontario license tied to a possible acquisition of PointsBet Canada, according to industry sources.
“Hard Rock Bet players expect a world-class experience from the moment they engage with us,” said Mike Primeaux, Hard Rock Digital Executive Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer.
“By integrating identity verification, KYC, fraud signals, and geolocation compliance into a single platform, we have created a more seamless experience for our players.”
