BetMGM Brings Las Vegas Live Dealer Casino Games to Alberta

BetMGM live dealer casino games, streamed directly from Las Vegas, are now available to players in Alberta, the iGaming operator announced.

Players can now access real-time blackjack, roulette and baccarat hosted by professional dealers and broadcast from MGM Resorts International destinations, live gameplay from their computer, tablet or mobile device.

Vegas Tables Reach Alberta

“Live dealer content continues to be one of the fastest-evolving categories in iGaming,” said Rob Passerino, director of gaming at BetMGM. “Live dealer bridges the gap between online gaming and the casino floor, creating a more immersive and engaging experience for players.”

Vegas All Bets Blackjack Live, Vegas Live Blackjack 1, Vegas Live Blackjack 2, Vegas Live Blackjack 3, Vegas Live Blackjack 4, Vegas Roulette Live and Vegas Baccarat Live are the live dealer games available at BetMGM.

Bridging Online and In-Person Play

BetMGM launched live-dealer casino games in Ontario in April 2022 when the regulated iGaming market in that jurisdiction went live. Players, wherever they’re signed on to the digital platform, enjoy the feeling that they’re actually in Las Vegas, and the company hopes it catches on in Alberta’s new open iGaming market as well, said Passerino.

“The real-time interaction with professional dealers and the ability to watch hands and spins unfold live adds a sense of authenticity that really resonates with players,” he said.

Dual Play Expands Offering

BetMGM was one of the first iGaming operators that went live when the Alberta market launched on July 13.

The live dealer games are streamed through MGM Resorts International’s live casino collaboration with Playtech.

Alberta players can also access Dual Play games from Bellagio and MGM Grand, where online and in-person players participate in the same game. Those include MGM Grand Live American Roulette, MGM Grand Live Roulette, Bellagio Live Roulette, MGM Grand Live Baccarat and Bellagio Live Baccarat.
