Caesars Adds Online Live Roulette With Tropicana Atlantic City Studio Feed

Caesars Entertainment is expanding its online gaming offering in New Jersey with a new live dealer roulette feed streaming from Tropicana Atlantic City.

Powered by Evolution Gaming, the business-to-business leader in online live dealer gaming, New Jersey online casino players on the Caesars network now have access to Remote Roulette. The interactive version of roulette puts remote players directly on the Tropicana casino floor in Atlantic City.

Remote Roulette allows remote and in-person casino players to participate on the same wheel. Remote Roulette joins Remote Reels, physical slot machines inside Tropicana that can be played online.

“Remote Roulette is the latest innovative addition to the gaming experiences available to players at Tropicana Atlantic City,” said Gregg Klein, senior vice president and general manager of Tropicana Atlantic City. “Following the success of Remote Reels, this live dealer experience extends the excitement of our casino floor to online players across New Jersey.”

Remote Play Key to Caesars AC

Caesars Entertainment operates three of the nine casinos in Atlantic City with Caesars, Tropicana, and Harrah’s. The company remains committed to its iGaming operations, which, unlike some of its brick-and-mortar business in Atlantic City, is thriving.

In New Jersey, Caesars’ online gaming portfolio operates as Caesars Interactive Entertainment New Jersey, LLC (CIENJ). The network includes various online gaming brands, including Caesars Palace Online Casino, Tropicana Casino, and WSOP. CIENJ also partners with third-party platforms such as BetParx, Jackpocket, Betinia, Ember Casino, and Vegas Club Casino.

Through August, CIENJ generated gross gaming revenue (GGR) of more than $210 million from the eight iGaming skins. That’s up 11% from 2025.

Meanwhile, in-person GGR at Tropicana is down 2.6% to $149.1 million, and Harrah’s casino win is 2.2% lower at $153.3 million.

Caesars, however, has seen retail casino win climb 10.9% to $158.5 million, with the company crediting $240 million in resort renovations over the past few years for the turnaround. For the first time in the property’s 46-year history, Caesars offered a beachfront venue this summer called the Caesars Beach Club.

For the first six months of 2026, Caesars’ gross operating profit was up 11.1% to $17.9 million, while Harrah’s was down 10.4% to $24.6 million and Tropicana’s bottom line shrunk 24.4% to $21.3 million.

The future of Caesars in Atlantic City will weigh on whether billionaire Tilman Fertitta’s $17.6 billion deal is executed. The sides agreed to the terms in May.

As proposed, the merger would give the new Caesars a fourth property in Atlantic City with Fertitta’s Golden Nugget. State regulators could force the company to sell or close a property on antitrust concerns.

Evolution Operations

In May 2024, Evolution announced plans to invest $75 million in a facility that would have consolidated its live dealer operations. The project targeted a parking lot near Angelo’s at 2301 Fairmount Avenue owned by the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA).  

Evolution later scrapped those plans in favor of partnering with the non-gaming Showboat. The 60,000-square-foot facility will be a live dealer broadcasting studio on the second floor of the resort, pending regulatory approval.
