The month of June saw some big online winners sharing their success. Much of that centered around the World Series of Poker as players continued battling in online bracelet events.
That brought one well-regarded poker pro finding his first gold bracelet. Other players also recorded some nice wins over the last month and shared their success online. Here’s a look at some of those as well as a few poker tips via social media.

Jonathan Little Grabs First WSOP Bracelet Via the Online Route
Few players have as decorated a career as Jonathan Little. The 40-year-old poker pro is a two-time World Poker Tour champion and former WPT player of the year.
The PokerCoaching.com founder also has won considerably playing online and that proved to be his ticket to grabbing a bracelet on June 17. Before that he’d had almost $1 million in WSOP winnings, but had never found a win in the series.
WSOP Online has been offering 30 online bracelet events to coincide with live events in Las Vegas. Little scored his first bracelet in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em event for $90,663. He posted the win and noted that getting to the finish line came with a nice comeback. A few days later, Little was happy to collect his hardware in front of players at the live WSOP.
Ethan “Rampage” Yau Scoops WPT Gold Title
Poker vlogging and streaming have paid big dividends for poker over the past few years. These players bring their games to the masses via platforms like Twitch and YouTube, and have helped introduce poker to a new generation of players.
The result? Live poker is bigger than ever and the online game is still seeing millions of players around the world getting in the game as well. Ethan “Rampage” Yau is one of the game’s most popular vloggers and his YouTube videos document his play at casinos and tournament series around the world.
Rampage Poker has 338,000 subscribers and some of his videos have millions of views. Yau simply loves the game and has more than $3 million in live tournament winnings. He also plays online considerably, including a bracelet in 2020 at WSOP Online for $164,494.
In June, Yau continued his winning ways by taking down an event on the WPT Gold sweepstakes poker sites for almost 15,000 sweeps coins, which are redeemable for that amount of cash.
After the win, Yau also noted a small concern to keep in mind when heading to Las Vegas for some WSOP action this summer at the Horseshoe and Paris casinos. Some casinos really drop the temperature down indoors as the Vegas heat can be scorching outdoors. But things can get downright frigid at times in the casinos.
“Made the mistake of leaving my hoodie in my car while playing in Paris yellow section,” he noted. “My fingers are actually going numb from the cold, the AC bill must be through the roof.”
Other Players Reaching the Winner’s Circle
A few other players also found the winner’s circle over the last month. Aaron Boone (not the New York Tankees manager) had quite a Fathers Day, booking three big finishes on PokerStars, GGPoker, and 888poker. That led to a profit of almost $8,500.
The 888poker Stream Team member is also rewarding 1% of his WSOP Main Event action to one of his followers – quite a sweat for the winner.
New York’s Nicholas Palma was one of those in Las Vegas at the WSOP while also playing online. Palma has more than $2,7 million in live tournament winnings and cashed in on a WSOP Circuit $400 progressive knockout online event for a championship ring and more than $28,000.
“I won it the first few days I was here in Vegas for the WSOP,” he tells Casino.org. “It felt good. I can (now) play the tournament of champions – now that’s cool.
Jeremy “Jermz” Sissman is no stranger to big online wins. The New Jersey grinder and married father of two has been playing full time online for almost 17 years. Sissman regularly posts about his results and that recently included several wins.
One of the biggest of those came in the $100 BetMGM Big Shot, where he topped a field of 77 for more than $2,200. The score came after saying that he had actually given up playing pot limit Omaha. Sissman picked a nice time to get back in the four-card action.
Aces Cracked for Poker-Playing Comedian
Every poker player has had the misfortune of seeing aces cracked. As the annual Summer Stacks series players out on the PokerStars U.S. platform, comedian and streamer Caitlin Comeskey experienced seeing pocket aces go down in flames.
Comiskey, a PokerStars ambassador originally from Dallas, Texas, streams her action from New Jersey and saw an opponent call her all in with king-jack. Unfortunately, a king came on the flop and a jack hit on the turn to end her run in the $100 Sunday Special.
Comeskey was understandably frustrated with her tough run of cards. A few days later, she headed off to Las Vegas and hopefully her luck runs better than this experience on Stars.
Poker Advice of the Month
After his win in the WSOP online, it only seems natural to go back to Jonathan Little for this month’s advice of the month. He offered some insight recently via Twitter on the main difference between live poker and playing online with some words of wisdom on how to excel at the virtual tables.
“Live poker gives you tells,” he noted. “Online poker gives you data. Use HUD (heads-up display) stats, watch betting patterns, and label your opponents as early as possible. Every edge counts.”
Another part-time player is looking to give poker pros some career advice. Joe Matton is a longtime player who has won a WSOP Circuit championship ring and is a regular on the Live at the Bike cash game stream. His ultimate goal is to win a WSOP bracelet and a WPT title and the healthcare industry executive simply loves to play.
Matton shares his poker life on YouTube and with his experience in the world, Matton is also working on a book to guide players to other possible careers if they are looking to get into something outside of the game. He spoke with a WSOP reporter about what to expect.
