On Monday, DAZN announced a partnership with ADI Predictstreet, a forthcoming prediction market that gained attention earlier this month after FIFA announced the platform as its official prediction market.

The crypto-based prediction market, backed by the ADI Chain, a blockchain project based in Abu Dhabi, will integrate its sports event contract trading into the DAZN network.

“Partnering with ADI Predictstreet allows us to embed realtime prediction directly into the live viewing experience, turning insight and sentiment into a native part of how fans engage with the world’s biggest sporting moments.” said Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group.

“With the FIFA World Cup 2026 as a catalyst and our platform as the engine, this partnership is a major step forward in how fans experience sport,” he added.

DAZN is a standalone app on most smart TVs and can also be accessed through game consoles and mobile devices, as well as Amazon Prime Video. DAZN’s focus is on combat sports and soccer.

Turning Fans Into Bettors/Traders

The debate on whether trading sports events on prediction markets constitutes financial acumen or betting won’t be settled anytime soon.

Proponents of the exchanges argue they allow individuals to use their insights and opinions to their financial advantage. Opponents claim that sports trading is nothing more than sports betting.

Dimitrios Psarrakis, the CEO of Predictstreet, says the goal of the prediction market aligning with DAZN is to bring sports fans to the exchange.

By combining DAZN’s unmatched reach with ADI Predictstreet’s real-time participation layer, we are transforming fans from spectators into active participants. This is not just an evolution of engagement, it is the creation of a new category where technology, collective intelligence, and global events intersect at scale,” Psarrakis declared.

Predictstreet claims its platform is designed to “reward insight and informed participation.”

FIFA World Cup Odds

The 2026 FIFA World Cup begins June 11 and runs through July 19. This year’s tournament is hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The World Cup Final will be played at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey, home of the NFL’s New York Giants and Jets.

With less than two months until the start, DraftKings has Spain as the betting favorite to win the World Cup at odds of +450. France and England are next at +550, and Brazil and Argentina round out the top five at +800.

The USA is at +5500, or implied odds of 1.79%. A $100 winning bet on that line would net $5,500.
