Life is Beautiful, the huge annual downtown Las Vegas music festival, is likely to switch locations this year.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the festival’s owner, Rolling Stone — yes, the music magazine, which purchased a majority stake in 2022 and is now the festival’s sole owner, so expect front-to-back coverage — plans to stage the event over two or three days at the Plaza on Fremont Street this fall, possibly as early as September.

The festival would spill throughout the property’s 20 acres, including onto surface parking, a garage structure, the CORE Arena outdoor equestrian center, and a former Greyhound bus station that, by itself, can reportedly hold 30K concert fans.

Country crooner Sam Hunt has announced two concerts at BleauLive Theater inside the Fontainebleau on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 19, at 10 a.m. at fontainebleaulasvegas.com.
