Multiple reports have Rush as the next legacy act to plug into the Sphere. Rumors of the negotiations between swirling last week when SiriusXM radio host Eddie Trunk told listeners he’d heard from trusted sources that a run of roughly 16–18 shows in 2027 was “a done deal.”

A follow‑up report in U.K. tabloid The Sun echoed the claim, quoting a source who said talks had been “secretly going on for a while” and that contracts could be finalized within weeks.
None of that has been confirmed by Rush, Sphere, or management. What is confirmed: co‑founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are back on the road with their “Rush: Fifty Something” tour, their first since 2015 and the 2020 death of drummer Neil Peart. They’re touring with drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold, with dates booked across North America, Europe, and South America through April 10, 2027.
If a Sphere residency happens, it would logically slot in after that tour wraps and after Metallica’s scheduled Sphere run ends in March 2027.
Marc the Dates
Marc Anthony is expanding his Fontainebleau Las Vegas residency, with the casino resort announcing eight new fall performances for “Vegas… My Way!” at BleauLive Theater.

Tickets for the newly added shows (Sept. 11, 12, 13, 16, 18 and 19, followed by Nov. 20 and 21) will go on sale 10 a.m. PT Friday, July 24 through Ticketmaster and FontainebleauLasVegas.com.
“Vegas… My Way!” is an intimate, bilingual showcase of Anthony’s three‑decade catalog, backed by a full live band and scaled for a room that keeps the crowd close to the stage. Each performance will be followed by late-night sessions at the property’s Nowhere Lounge, with live sets curated by Anthony band member Motif.
Another Diana Ross Encore
Motown superstar Diana Ross will bring her “Diana in Motion” residency back to the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas on Oct. 2-4, following her three sold-out shows over Valentine’s Day weekend.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. PT Friday, July 24 via Ticketmaster.
