Maxwell’s current tour is titled “The Serenade,” Green’s is “Don’t Mind if I Do.” Tickets for both headliners go on sale at 10 am PT Friday, June 20 via AXS.com.

We haven’t heard much about the Resorts World Theatre lately because it closed for renovations following a Janet Jackson residency date on May 31 and will reopen for six more previously announced “Janet Jackson: Las Vegas” dates starting on September 10.

Rod Only Knows

Caesars Palace headliner Rod Stewart courted controversy during an interview with Radio Times this week. The 80-year-old rocker — who canceled five of his Las Vegas residency dates earlier this month due to the flu — had some choice words for President Donald Trump, his former Florida neighbor who he also declared his former friend, over his support of Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza.

“How’s that war ever gonna stop?” Stewart said. “What (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu is doing to the Palestinians is exactly what happened to the Jews. It’s annihilation, and that’s all he wants to do — get rid of them all.

“I don’t know how they sleep at night.”

Stewart resumes his residency at the Colosseum on September 24.

Shaq It Up, Baby

“Breakaway Takeover,” touted as the nation’s largest touring dance festival, returns to the Wynn’s XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club this summer. The fun kicks off August 22 with Two Friends at Encore Beach Club, followed by Diplo at XS.

The festival’s breakout star will be basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, cloaked in his DJ Diesel persona, who is slated to perform at Encore Beach Club the following evening.

Tickets are currently on sale at WynnNightlife.com.

I think your headline "Rod sides with Palestinians" is an overly emotional assessment of the situation. Not defending or condemning him, but it feels like… I think your headline "Rod sides with Palestinians" is an overly emotional assessment of the situation. Not defending or condemning him, but it feels like the only reason you posted this was to drum up negative sentiment towards him, because your headline makes it clear where you stand. It doesn't really have anything to do with Las Vegas.
