- Bravo has greenlighted Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas, a reality series documenting the rush to open the Strip’s first celebrity-branded casino in 30 years
- The Vanderpump Hotel marks Lisa Vanderpump’s fourth Las Vegas venue, joining her restaurants and bars at Caesars Palace, Paris, and the Flamingo
- The series will culminate in the hotel’s celeb-studded grand opening later this month
The transformation of The Cromwell into the Vanderpump Hotel is no longer just a Las Vegas redevelopment story — it’s now a reality TV storyline, too. Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas, a new spinoff series ordered by Bravo, will document entrepreneur and reality-TV star Lisa Vanderpump’s sprint to reopen the Caesars Entertainment-owned boutique property on the Strip.

Bravo confirmed in its announcement that the series will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the “dash to make the property worthy of the Vanderpump brand,” culminating in a star-studded opening party. The focus will be on Vanderpump’s collaboration with designer Nick Alain, with whom she is said to have reimagined the Cromwell’s 188 rooms, a new lounge, reception area, and the new Soleia rooftop pool in what Caesars describes as an “industrial romantic” style.
No premiere date for the series has been announced. The hotel will have its public grand opening on Friday, May 29, preceded by a soft launch — in which the first block of renovated rooms becomes available for select Caesars Rewards members and friends and family members — on May 26.
For Caesars, the series functions as a high‑visibility marketing engine at a moment when Las Vegas resorts increasingly rely on reality‑TV integration, influencer partnerships, and branded experiences to differentiate themselves in a crowded Strip landscape. The free advertising provided by a possible Bravo series may have been one of the main reasons the casino giant agreed to license the rebrand to Vanderpump in the first place.
No Vanderbrakes Pumped

Caesars’ partnership with Vanderpump has expanded steadily over the past five years. The Vanderpump Hotel becomes her fourth Las Vegas venue opened in conjunction with the company, joining the restaurants and bars Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace (established 2019), Vanderpump à Paris at Paris Las Vegas (2022), and Pinky’s by Vanderpump at the Flamingo (2024).
Vanderpump and husband, Ken Todd, also operate Wolf by Vanderpump at Caesars Republic properties in Lake Tahoe and Scottsdale.
For Caesars, the rebrand is the latest chapter for a building with the Strip’s most changeable history. The casino hotel opened in 1979 as the Barbary Coast, became Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon in 2007, and reopened, after a 2014 renovation as The Cromwell — after nearly carrying the Gansevoort name. (During a background check conducted in 2012 for a casino license application, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission raised serious concerns about a minority investor in the Gansevoort Hotel Group with alleged ties to Russian organized crime.)
This Celebrity Beat Vanderpump to It
The Cromwell’s conversion into the Vanderpump marks the first time Caesars has named a Las Vegas casino-hotel after a celebrity. Though it did rename its Centurion Tower at Caesars Palace as the Nobu Hotel in 2013 — after restaurateur Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa — the first, and only other casino hotel named after a celebrity was the Debbie Reynolds Hotel & Casino, which operated from 1993 to 1997 in the former Paddlewheel a block off the Las Vegas Strip.
Lisa Las Vegas will be produced by 32 Flavors — the company behind the original Vanderpump Rules — and Evolution Media. Evolution, which has produced the bulk of the Vanderpump slate, is now a subsidiary of Amazon MGM Studios, following Amazon’s $8.5 billion 2022 acquisition of the studio.
For Bravo, the show marks the latest evolution of the Vanderpump Rules universe, which itself launched in 2013 as a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Since then, the franchise has expanded into a multi-series slate including Vanderpump Dogs, Vanderpump Villa, Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky, The Valley, and the recently debuted The Valley: Persian Style.
