UFC Wants to Expand Las Vegas Headquarters and Include WWE

UFC is preparing a major expansion of its Las Vegas campus, with WWE included in the developing blueprint.

The company controls roughly 70 acres just north of the 215 Beltway between Jones and Rainbow boulevards, but only half of that land has been developed — a gap UFC leadership now wants to fill with a hotel, new event infrastructure, and dedicated WWE facilities.

“We’re currently in the process of developing a master plan for this facility, which will include hopefully a lot of things, including a hotel, expansion with our TKO partner WWE, maybe additional collaborations with other sports and entertainment organizations here in Las Vegas,” UFC senior executive vice president and COO Lawrence Epstein told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

UFC president and CEO Dana White emphasized that the campus is still in its early stages, and that UFC hopes to unveil more details within the next several months.

“Like Lawrence said, we’re just getting started,” he told the newspaper. “We own a lot of the property around here, and we’re coming up with a master plan.”

WWE Belong

The mention of WWE marks one of the clearest signs yet of TKO’s intent to explore physically integrating its two flagship combat sports brands in Las Vegas. UFC already operates its headquarters, the Performance Institute, and the Meta Apex facility on the site. But WWE has its Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and its offices in Stamford, Connecticut.

Though the specifics of WWE’s involvement under the new plan remain undefined, the pro wrestling organization could receive office space, training areas, production facilities, or a combination of all three.

Meta Expansion

The expansion follows a significant upgrade to Meta Apex, which recently increased its capacity to up to 1,300 people. The venue now features retractable bleachers, a second-floor mezzanine for roughly 90 guests, two new state-of-the-art kitchens, a redesigned grand entrance, and larger LED screens.

And the expanding may not be finished. With about 35 acres still untouched, UFC and WWE have room to build a substantial shared presence — one that could reshape how TKO stages events, develops talent, and competes with other major sports organizations in Las Vegas.

“We just got this (Meta Apex refresh) done,” White said. “But yeah, I mean, who knows? I mean, this originally was supposed to be a studio for fights, and now we have an arena that we’re already talking about expanding, so who knows?”
