Miami Grand Prix

The announcement comes ahead of this weekend’s Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix.

FanDuel’s odds and real-time insights will be integrated across F1’s website and app over each race weekend. Its content will be embedded into the age-gated Formula 1’s Betting Guide.

The deal aims to give FanDuel’s 17 million U.S. and Canada customers more ways to wager on F1. Fans will be able to bet customized to their favorite teams and drivers, with ways to wager around race winners, podium finishes and head-to-head driver matchups. Additional ways to wager on F1 will be announced as the season unfolds.

“We’re delighted to welcome FanDuel as our new Official Betting Operator in the United States and Canada. Those are markets that continue to increase their love and engagement with Formula 1,” said Jonny Haworth, Director of Commercial Partnerships, Formula 1.

Engaging Betting Opportunities

“Sports betting is becoming an increasing component with how fans, especially in the US, interact with sport. It’s vital we have a strong and well-placed partner to deliver our strategy and fuel our momentum across the market.

With tens of millions of fans across the country, FanDuel is yet another avenue that eligible fans can enjoy and experience the thrill of Formula 1.”

Looking at the Miami race, Kimi Antonelli (ITA/Mercedes), Max Verstappen (NED/Red Bull) and George Russell (GBR/Mercedes) are leading the way with sportsbooks for most bet tickets and most bet handle.

Antonelli and Russell are betting favorites for the race, which runs Sunday at 4 p.m. EST. Practice and qualifying is tomorrow.

Real-Time Data

The race will be held at the Miami International Autodrome. That’s a temporary 5.4 km track with 19 corners built around Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

“Being named an Official Betting Operator of Formula 1 marks an exciting step forward as we enhance our sportsbook product to deliver more interactive experiences for fans,” said Karol Corcoran, Managing Director of FanDuel Sportsbook.

“Formula 1 generates an incredible amount of real-time data. Our platform is built to turn that into engaging betting opportunities for fans. This partnership will allow us to deliver even more immersive, data-driven experiences throughout the race weekend.”

Erin Andrews Announcement

FanDuel also announced that sports broadcaster Erin Andrews has been named as a Responsible Gaming Ambassador. Andrews is best known as a sideline reporter for NFL and college football on Fox Sports.

“Sports are, and always have been, such a huge part of my life,” she said. “I was impressed that FanDuel speaks openly about Responsible Gaming and emphasizes that gaming tools should be a part of your winning strategy.

“And of course, FanDuel gives people all the tools and awareness to enjoy sports betting safely from the start. That balance between enjoyment and responsibility in sports betting is something I genuinely believe in. It made me want to be part of the conversation,” she added.
