An explosion rocked the Las Vegas Strip early Saturday, setting palm trees alight outside the Aria Resort and Casino.

According to Las Vegas police, the blaze erupted after the occupant of a car threw a firework into one of the trees that then exploded.

TikToker Baby Khaled, one of many witnesses who shared videos to social media, said he “heard an explosion” that sounded like a bomb. He then shared footage of a car speeding away from the scene.

“Let’s find this car,” he said.

No injuries were reported and there is no damage to nearby hotels, according to police, who noted that the fire “was contained to a small area and was extinguished quickly.”
