Aspiring rapper and professional barber Kalongie Bradley, 28, who performs under the stage name “BlueHunitz,” was arraigned at the courthouse following his arrest for his involvement in the fight at the Wynn Resorts-owned property.

At around noon on March 10, state troopers were called to the Cambridge District Court. There, they met with Medford police officers who had detained five men following a brawl on the courthouse steps.

One of the men had suffered a stab wound and was taken to the hospital for treatment. As of last week, the victim was reported as being in “serious but stable condition.”

Relative Knifed

As they searched the men, police discovered and secured a knife in Bradley’s waistband, and he was identified as a suspect.

The victim is believed to have been a relative of the man who had fought with Bradley earlier at the casino. Police also detained three additional individuals at a restaurant near the courthouse.

While the police haven’t officially identified him by his stage name, social media posts linked to BlueHunitz to Bradley, including his Instagram handle. Additionally, a distinctive “Touch Paper” tattoo seen on BlueHunitz’s left arm appears on Bradley, which is also visible in posts promoting his Boston barbershop, the Everything Is Real Hair Care Center.

Bradley has a criminal history that includes charges related to firearms, assault and battery of a police officer, resisting arrest, and trespassing. These are past charges, and the outcomes of these cases are not mentioned in the available records.

As a rapper, Bradley has gained a following on major music streaming platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify. His discography includes the April 2021 album “Really One of Them N**s From Around My Way,” which features tracks like “Top Opp Shit.”

On Spotify, he has approximately 850 monthly listeners, indicating a modest but consistent local audience.

Despite his past, Bradley had recently used his social media platforms to encourage his followers to focus on personal growth and strive for success beyond their immediate environments. He emphasized the importance of working hard and overcoming challenges to reach potential.

He faces charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and is scheduled to be arraigned in front of the Malden District Court. A disorderly conduct misdemeanor related to the casino altercation was dismissed, according to court records.
